They then beat Meath to win Leinster, and Meath topped their group beating Kerry on the way. From here on out it`s knockout football so every game is a bar of soap.

Happier to have them than Cork or Galway at this stage, but I would not underestimate Louth. They have a knack of scoring goals, and they have a bit more scoring power this year than last where if you managed Mulroy you took a lot of the sting out of them.

At intercounty level these chances have to be put away. Because McBrearty is all left foot he took the shot on allowing the keeper to get back. The other goal opportunities we had were poor also. Look how Galway put away their chances against Armagh. The ball must be driven along the ground preferably in the corner. I hope they are practicing this in training.

jeez that was some point by Moore. What a footballer. And a bloody good golfer as well I believe. Life’s not fair:)

Agree with all on ref. Gaelic football is a tough game to ref and you expect a few calls to go against you but that clown was as bad as a league of Ireland ref. Obviously the ones mentioned above not to mention Thompson I think being clattered as he went down on the ball and “Aido” committing 2 card offences and nothing done

How a footballer of McBreartys ability has a right foot so bad that he can’t roll the ball into the net from 4 yards with it is beyond me. Has he ever worked on it? Even at that he should have had it in the net with his left before Reape got back. Some save by Reape from ODonnell.

Oisin continues to frustrate. Why was he handpassing the ball across the goal when there was no teammates anywhere near?

Not sure about us on lockouts. Mayo seemed to be getting a lot of short ones away handy whereas we were having to perform heroics in midfield to win ours. Apart from a couple seemed to be a lack of movement out the field.

Hate to do a Dick Clerkin but I did say at the time that the Tyrone defeat might be a blessing in disguise and looking at the draw that might be the case.

Particularly with Armagh winning “the group of death” and looking like facing Kerry in the qf, and our dear neighbours getting Dublin or Galway as reward for spoiling Jim’s unblemished Ballybofey record :)

Anyway still looks like 6 or more teams could win it if they hit a streak of form at the right time which is brilliant. Good luck to whoever does. They’ll deserve it
