Anybody know the setting for spreading the acres winter bird seed with a Vicon wagtail fertiliser spreader. I am putting out a bag to the acre.

Mine isn’t a vicon, but it’s similar - set it at 9, that allowed me to go over it 2-3 times. That was with oats, linseed, phacelia mix… Although not sure what you mean by a bag to the acre - are you mixing a bag of fertiliser with it?

A bag of seed to the acre. I am hoping to go over it once. What do you do to set the seed? As in seed bed preparation etc.

How big is the bag?

You would be better off going at least twice, in opposite ways to ensure cover?

18 KG. How far apart are you spreading the seed. As in how far apart are the wheelmarks from each other.

Forward speed would be a help too. Anybody know if mustard will outgrow grass. I am hoping that the mustard will crowd out the grass underneath. Also need to know what fertilizer to spread and when.
