Yeah but they were making da bomb and going to destroy humanity for some reason. Everyone knows that, Bibi has been telling us about it for decades, just look at his public statements going back to the 90's. In fact he has been spewing this tale since the 80's.

Women, children, the elderly, nuns, their own hostages, even sheep.

    Now the disabled.

    • The IDF killed a disabled Palestinian man in a targeted strike in southern Gaza at the end of May, claiming he was identified as a "terrorist," an Haaretz investigation has found. The man, Muhammad al-Farra, was seen in IDF drone footage walking with a limp in the Satar neighborhood in Khan Yunis before being struck.
    • The IDF confirmed the strike, stating that the man had been "identified as a terrorist observing troops and moving between buildings used for terrorist activity" and that it had ordered the evacuation of the neighborhood prior to the strike.

Anyone else think it's odd that Israel is worried about its "International image"?

The Israeli government is refusing to release reports drafted by the Public Defender's Office regarding visits paid to Palestinian security prisoners and detainees in Israeli custody since the war began, Haaretz has learned, citing national security concerns.

Sources familiar with the proceedings told Haaretz that the Justice and National Security Ministries are blocking their publication due to concerns that the reports, which allegedly document the extremely harsh conditions the prisoners are kept in, could harm Israel's international image and negatively affect Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

If Iran had that capability Israel wouldn't have launched the attacks in the first place. We would see how opened minded and consistent defenders of the pre emptive strike doctrine would be if the situation was reversed. Salami and five nuclear scientists are dead. These attacks demonstrate that Israel can act with impunity over the skies of Tehran and can do precision strikes when it suits them. We will hear Iran talk a big game for a domestic audience but achieve very little in return and be content to leave at that because despite what the likes of sean w would have you believe the Iranian leadership are into self preservation rather than martyrdom

They aren’t just meeting with them. The MOD is actively training the israeli Nazi soldiers in the U.K.

To hell or to Connaught springs to mind. Maybe the Irish are misjudging Ollie Cromwell??

I'm pretty sure that the deliberate targeting of an unarmed man not in uniform (not even believed to be anyone of note in Hamas) would constitute a war crime - interesting that they announce this and not even be bothered by the legality of such a targeting.

Iran won't do sh1t to Israel, because it isn't capable.

They always talk big, then do nothing except launch a pile of worthless drones and missiles which have no effect.

I think Israel were actually quite shocked when Iran's drones permeated their Iron Dome previously - Iran will have learned from it.

Is the U.K. Parliament proof enough??

“In response to a written question at Westminster, put in by Labour MP for York Central Rachael Maskell.

Maskell asked “when the last time was that a member of the Israel Defense Forces was trained by the UK armed forces”.

In a response published on Wednesday, Armed Forces Minister Luke Pollard admitted that the UK was “currently” training IDF soldiers in the UK.”

No air defense system in the world is impenetrable when faced with mass attack.

But, Iran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones and achieved nothing whatsoever from a military POV, because Israel's air defense network is one of the best in the world.

Compare that to the power of each Israel strike which tend to destroy their targets with relative ease.

It's David and Goliath stuff, and this time Israel is Goliath.

Good guys Iran need all our support! Wheres Greta and Liam Cunningham to lead the charge!

This is tiresome rubbish at this point.🙄 Pretty much noone in reality "supports" Iran or its awful regime imo bar some noisy far left crazies and of course Russo/Chinese (or Iranian!) bots that pollute online fora.

For Iranians, anyone that tries to organise and get the mullahs out is likely to end up in a prison or in the ground.

Israelis (also I think better educated and wealthier than most in the ME, another black mark against them) have sadly voted for Bibi in droves for years despite what an obvious bad actor he is, and majority support this war-mongering + aggression, and the disgusting policies of their government towards the Palestinians.

I guess Bibi will get to stay on a bit longer in charge if he keeps the conflict going.

Well I find that shocking. Id take EVERYTHING the UK says about the crisis now with a pinch of salt.

Supplying them with weapons, and also training them in the UK.

There's no words. Talking out of their asses when they claim to have sympathy for Gaza.

The post I quoted is hoping Iran attacks Israel...it said it twice FFS.

But yeah thats not supporting Iran.

Well I always knew British companies were making billions from selling weapons of genocide to Israel. But I didn't think they'd have to train the IDF too.

Israeli embassies around the world close

“Israeli missions around the world will be closed and consular services will not be provided,” according to a statement posted to the websites of Israeli embassies in Berlin, Stockholm and Rome.

The statement, which appeared to come from Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also urged Israelis abroad to avoid displaying Jewish or Israeli symbols in public.

No timeframe was given for how long the embassies would be closed.

    - Irish Times

Not sure what to say about this other than it seems to be some sort of recognition that there will be blowback for their war mongering.

Fair enough, but you are always coming out with this sarcastic stuff (namedropping Greta Thunberg., Liam Cunningham etc.), tarring everyone who criticises Israel as supportive of Islamic fundamentalism + terrorism and likes of Hamas/Iran etc. when it is a load of rubbish and such people are in an extreme minority in reality.

tbh I am no supporter of Iran/the govt. there, but I couldn't give much of a crap at this stage if they respond to these strikes and successfully attack Israel. If they could manage to destroy each other somehow without innocents being harmed (impossible) I'd be fine with that.

There was a HAMAS command and control centre hiding in his disability.

Iran's military capabilities are based on old tech. They're still flying F-14's that they were given by the US in the 70's.

No… I would expect that every country would have concern for their International image.

Just because his killers say he was a "terrorist", it doesn't make it so. And given their propensity for lies, I'd be inclined not be believe anything Israel says at this point.

seeing as the UK has sold about £500m in arms in the last ten years, I’d be surprised if it is billions, especially as the UK accounts for less than 1% of arms sales to Israel.

Tell me the God honest truth, do you really believe this news article? Not even Israelies themselves believe these complete fabrications.

Just shows the mossads control of the mind, let alone the media.

Iron Dome is a fake technology. The explosions over Tel-Aviv are little more than fireworks. Fireworks that for decades have served as a basis for Israel's "retaliations"

Funny how it's only now that they have attacked Iran that they have sent the warnings to their citizens. Wasn't that threat always there from Hamas? Would be laughable if there wasn't an active genocide happening behind it all

I see Paul Murphy has been "detained" in Egypt as part of the latest gesture politics stunt by some well meaning but utterly useless and ineffectual protesters. With any luck they'll throw him into some dark shithole prison for a few years and spare us all from his dreary Marxist shriekings in the Dáil for a while.

Maybe save the country time and effort trying to sort out these stupid political stunts as well.

These folk should be left to their own devices.
