try different spring counts, 1200 to 6000+…..wool filling can help keep you warm in winter and cool in summer..

Honestly I think a mattress is one of those things where there's no substitute for going to a shop and finding the one you like

You'll be spending about a third of your life on it so might as well be sure it's the one you want

In terms of what's the difference between a cheap and expensive mattress, the main factors seems to be the depth and makeup of the cushion layer and the number and quality of the springs

Long story short, more money gets you a thicker cushion top which may include things like memory foam. It also seems to get you more springs which are stronger

A lot of more expensive mattresses are orthopedic which basically just means its firmer in some areas than others to account for the fact that human backs aren't flat. So you sink in and are supported rather than feel like you're sleeping on a wooden pallet

Unfortunately it isn't one of those cases where more money automatically gets more comfort. I would definitely never go for the cheapest option but what works for other people might not be good for you

So, best bet is to go around a few shops and see what you like

I'd also drop another recommendation for EZ Living, the staff are good and in general I think their furniture is just a bit classier looking than others. Harvey Norman in particular always seems to be very flashy stuff, seems more for showing off than using
