He can’t get another game this season, he’d struggle with an u14s game

That makes no sense. Do we decide not to apply the rules because of where the match is played?

Horseshit, same rules apply in munster as they do in the rest of the country. The game either has rules or it doesn't. Can't pick and choose when to apply them. It's not even hurling today, just a wrestling match with a ball.

Limerick didn't build on either goal, which is unlike them.

Cork well in this, with Lynch and K.Hayes not as influential

Has Cian Lynch touched the ball in the second half so far??

    Edit: before the 58th minute

Any lad reffing a hurling game called 'Tyler' would have to be a bollox.

One thing that annoys me about hurling is that they seem to not care a jot about the technical rules, like maor uisce's etc. entering the field and stuff like that. Break them with abandon.

At least the much aligned football don't stretch the limits the same way.

Limerick struggling big time, did they underestimate Cork?

Ref aside, those wides from Cork are brutal.

A few Cork people said to me indulging Hoggie and playing him to win an All Ireland, sentiment, could cost Cork.

    Wides killing Cork

Cork going to blow it here.

Limerick touch isn't as sharp as in the group game.

Cork seem to have to work a lot harder for their points. Effortless for Limerick.

15 wides is terrible stuff tbh.

Horgan has had a bit of a mare today for sure too many wides. But comes up with a big point then.

Seems to be a few calls going against Cork too. That line ball that for limerick in lead to limerick taking the lead was wrong and I wouldn't mind seeing the wide they checked with linesman again

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,562 ✭✭✭keeponhurling

    the wide was correct

the sideline ball looked like the wrong call

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,672 ✭✭✭testtech05

Cheers didn't see the replay so was wondering the player seemed to think it was over. The line ball was definitely wrong.

Cork have had some really bad wides though

It was blatantly wrong, I could see a Limerick lad kicked it watching from the couch. Thankfully didn't become the decisive call.

This is a terrible game of hurling.

Ref tried his hardest for Limerick there at the end fair play to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,806 ✭✭✭robbiezero

Fair play Cork. Brought some battle. AI is back on regardless of what happens here in extra time. Awful second half of hurling thought. More like a game of rugby.

Limerick looking quite vulnerable and are not at level I thought they might be after the RR game, the ferocious physicality is taking its toll and they are being turned over time and again.

Fair play to Cork, they dug in well against the wind, Sean O'Donoghue, Joyce won some great ball. Barret, Fitzgibbon etc working a serious shift.

Corks wides killed them in the end. Ref was also very poor very biased towards limerick

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,562 ✭✭✭keeponhurling

That would have been incredibly harsh if Limerick scored at the end…the injury time was up before Quaid pucked it out

It's only one of about 60 other wrong calls or non calls. I see no point in training as hard as lads do only to have a ref turn it in to a complete lottery. God knows who'd be on top here if the rules were applied. I've a feeling it would be Cork though and fairly comfortably. They've outworked for 70mins
