Paypal not disguising purchases

That's a feature, not a problem - so you know what it was for and don't end up calling them to ask.

If you are trying to hide purchasing something specific, you need to do it completely disconnected from your main bank. Prepaid cards loaded with cash etc. It's worth asking yourself what actually needs that level of subterfuge.

Especially if she doesn't get a fair go too!

Could you not load money to your PayPal wallet, then use the Paypal balance to make your purchase?

When you log into PayPal you should see an option to transfer money. Follow the steps, it will be a transfer from your bank.

Then when you pay by PayPal you should be offered to pay with your balance.

Maybe try it for a small amount and see if it's what you need. Your bank will just see a money transfer to PayPal, not where you subsequently spend it.
