Self-employed, sole trader, company director...

    Hi

I was wondering what the situation is with people who are unemployed, receiving state benefits and are in the process of setting up a business? Will state benefits be automatically cut off once they register as a sole trader / company director or does there have to be proof of income before this happens?

    Thanks
