Good range of products in the UK, anyone know if they are bring more of that range into Irish supermarkets.

    Crisps weren't bad.

    ______

In the end they were just greedy, they all knew one another and knew what to expect more money for no return, it was a secure cash flow, but in fairness they looked for what they wanted and fair dues to them for that, and wouldn't you be doing the same!

Just one more thing .... when did they return that car

many of the items are dreadful bottom of the barrel quality - I really hope Irish consumers have better taste

Well good rebrand. Either way crisps were grand, never sure about beans and ketchup, think the only non-brand ketchup that was any good was Dunne's St. Bernard one. Not sure what their's is like now.

something like crisps will be ok as its simply potatoes and oil and flavouring. But where there's "ultra processing" where fillers a varied quality ingredients can be used, its poor.

Strangely, the muesli is ok and birds love it. Way cheaper than birdfood at €1.40/kg

And for own brand ketchup, Lidl's organic ketchup (glass bottle) is superb. I think about 1.50 for 500g bottle.

Am I dreaming this but did they have a 1.5% beer at one point, remember being at a house party and someone had the great idea of buying a 24 pack of the stuff.

I also once bought their chicken burgers for 1.99 and the box said 1% chicken!

    Poor student days!
