Currently there's an outbreak of nuclear hysteria in social media. Lots of talk about how Putin is going to have a nukey fit. lol.

It looks like history is starting up again.

Well now the world can see there are no red lines left for anyone to cross and the Putin regime is a paper tiger. Please oh please Europe finally back the incredible Ukrainian army with whatever they need and stop the half measures so the Ruzzians can finally feel the pain they are long overdue.

I think as far back as Season 6 of '24' that scenario was imagined.

There's better locked up, any chance of a relaxation of mental health rules…

The secondary effects are interesting to ponder now

Up to now Russians just pulled back to farther and farther away bases which increased time in air and wear and tear on planes

But that didn’t work as a strategy, they will probably have to pull back what’s left to back arse of nowhere like Novaya Zemlya and/or expend insane manpower checking every truck/train/boat/car within like 50km of each base

In the videos that are out the trucks just parked to side of what looks like busy motorway and launched the drones

The irony is not lost on me that this is precisely what Iranians were boasting about with truck launched shaheeds

If only Ukraine could get the penguins and their Orca and Seal allies onside. We know how the penguins of Heard and McDonald islands responded to Trumps tariff threats.

any day now he’ll be showing up in Moscow saluting Putins courage, strength and indefatigability. Dressed as a cat probably…

Like everything in Russia. Done in a half arsed and hollowed way.

The whole plane was probably meant to be covered to help against drones but Ivan couldn’t be bothered doing it correct cause he’s payed peanuts.

Gotta laugh at the Vatnik shítheels parroting this drivel in social media, this isn't Russia's Pearl Harbour, it's more accurate to call it their Battle of Midway or 1905 redux and Ukraine just ripped their balls clean off, the crippling of the Vatnik's Air Power like this will severely degrade their ability to wage terror tantrums on Ukrainian cities and you'd nearly want to be a fly on the wall just to watch the likes of Putin squirming and utterly shítting themselves in a fit of impotent rage at their sheer amount of L's they just took today. They'll likely be spending months running around Russia chasing ghosts if not fearing the Ukrainians got even more of these Drone Carriers inside Russia ready to surprise the fuckers at the moment they least expect it. Hell the memes alone from the likes of NCD over on reddit are fúcking hillarious. Love days like this, the schadenfreude is sheer hilarity.

Also laughing at those talking shíte the Russians might go for the nuclear option over this, there's not a chance in hell of this happening, not least because if they launch a nuke they run the risk of other nuclear powers glassing them in return but that it would be a crowning moment of idiocy that would turn even China against them proper. Russia's going to be eating these L's for a long time to come, they started this war thinking they could just walk in and take over Ukraine. They fúcked with the wrong country.

The Russian bots on some social media sites have just gone into overdrive. Much the same message as that evil pr**k Galloway was sprouting.

Pearl harbour, nuclear response and all of that.

Just had a thought, but I wonder will we here from Trump in the coming days and how he had to talk Putin out of a nuclear response, and he will say Ukraine and Zelensky will need to give up much more for peace.

It would be in form for him, I wouldn't be surprised one bit.

If this attack took 18 months to plan the Russian's might gamble there won't be another one coming for the next year. But they'll have to buff man power and air defence and maybe build New sections of some motorways. There could even be check points set up checking out the truck trailers driving by.

They can't afford to pull these bomber's back any further because they are needed in the war. This attack will send chills up the Russian's spine.

Vatnik's Poor Man attempt to fool AI controlled drones into thinking they're not a bomber and not their target. That the Ukrainians could live stream the footage suggests the Vatniks either had zero kind of EW protection on the bases or they're controlled via fibre optic cable from a point outside jamming range.

Germany doing a U turn on the Taurus missiles last week makes sense now, wouldn't look great if they had agreed the Taurus and then this attack happens a few days later, the Kremlin would go into propaganda over time.

Ukraine did a good job of getting the videos out quick

How is this a Russian Pearl Harbour (apart from the more obvious reasons) when they intercepted all the drones 🫣

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,852 ✭✭✭Wolf359f

Unless Ukraine also planned for more attacks (incase this one failed). The question Russia must be asking, what has Ukraine already got in the planning stage and ready to strike without warning.

What's next, sea drones taking the long way around to the Baltic Sea to launch drones or a hot air balloon sent over Russia filled with drones. That's on the theory that the FPV drones Ukraine used were programmed to get to a location and use AI to target the bombers.

The delivery system (trucks) will be hard to repeat, but the effectiveness of the drones seems to be highly successful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,254 ✭✭✭RoyalCelt

Yeah I feel this could be like the Crimean bridge strike. It might not be repeated.

Hopefully something else up their sleeve. I'm so happy though, it was so irritating watching these planes launch missiles at Ukraine from day 1 and nothing happening to them. Well now I guessed that has now changed.

The Russian response will be interesting. They might not have many missiles stockpiled for a huge strike after the recent massive hits.

Right wing blogs frothing about WW3 and desperately trying to pin russia's air force being castrated on NATO.

If that pops up here, they'll be under orders or weak-minded.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,852 ✭✭✭Wolf359f

Crimea Bridge, Moskva and this latest one is up there with them. I'm delighted myself. A truck bomb is nothing new though, Moskva was sunk with Neptune anti-ship missiles…. this though was way out of the box and I believe Ukraine will learn and adapt for future strikes.

I believe Russia do have a stockpile of missiles, problem now is less planes to deliver them.

    Untitled Image

I think this must be a joke, but if they really scheduled the drone launch times and routes so they looked like that, I'm at a loss for words.

A crisis has befallen Ukraine - they have a severe shortage of popcorn.

You could laugh off the "Russian Pearl Harbour" thing if not for that cheeto-dust clown in the White House who god knows will come out with some rubbish like "Zelensky clearly doesn't want peace" or similar that washes Putin's balls and the pathetic terror attack rhetoric.

Go on Ukraine. Was delighted to hear of these strikes today on Russia. Well done Ukraine.

Now for the inevitable nonsense later from the orange Buffoon and the evil dictator in Russia.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.
