No, it's for space heating only. I use the Eddi for any hot water heating (33.3kWh for the month)

Hi there, can someone explain to me what attachment is about, I have a 6.08 KWP system with a solax 6kw hybrid inverter,

It’s capable of handling 9kw but in the summer months it converts up to 60kw less than what the panels produce.

here is an example from the 22nd May,

The inverter is not keeping up with PV solar in the morning, any reason for this.

Something not right there. Is the green supposed to be consumption ? Can't see how consumption could match generation across a day.

Could just be CT clamp in the wrong place

hi Championc, the green area in s not consumption, it has a just the PV production and inverter overlapping, but the area circled shows the PV producing but the inverter is lagging

I have a battery yes, the area ⭕️ is what is bothering me, the inverter seems to be lagging here.

Could the battery be charging at that point.

The inverter in this context is converting DC-AC - be it from solar or battery, when the battery is charging it isnt going through the inverter, when it is full, the inverter is running fully and exporting the power.

If you turn off inverter, but turn on battery charging and to Home how is it looking.

As for the spike.. Electric shower or something?

So Yellow is solar and green is AC generation ? If so, then indeed it could be something like recharging up the battery with whatever was lost since the overnight charging stopped ?

thanks graememk and championc, the battery would normally charge at this time, the spikes are the electric shower.

hi loyatemu, what did you produce last June and what is your set up? I’ve a 6.08 kwp SSW system mid Cork and currently on 809 kWh for the month. Should be close to 900 kWh by the end of the month.

Like many - all time high for me also. 126% of PVGIS and nearly 65Kwh more than the previous all time high of May 2023. This month will be going down as one for the ages.

846Kwh from my 6.5 kwp E/W arrays in South Dublin. Then the Shed chipped in (2.3Kwp South) with another 330Kwh, bringing me up to 1,176 kwhr. Crazy numbers. I exported some 540Kwh of that, so a nice cool €100+ in credit on the account, it'll pay for the standing charge and a few quid towards winter…

6.84kWp array, SSW. 6kW inverter, 4.8kWh battery. Roscommon.

1098kWh, well over 150kWh above my previous best month. Phenomenal production, almost 20% of the yearly forecast in one month.

Best day: 22nd - 47.4kWh

Worst day: 29th - 9.6kWh

Would have been over 1100 except I lost a few hours one sunny day with the grid down due to some plonker trimming trees in the nearby town and hitting a power line. Also the panels were dusty for a while before the rain came back.
