Joe, sounds like he has needed the input from the medical profession of late.

    Trains sans loos!

This was not on the promo

No toilets on the new trains. If you had explosive diarrhoea and hung off the back could you add some oomph to the train’s progress and help the environment?

Like the time he said anyone who wants to study medicine should be able to.…

He can't see how doing that might lead to poor outcomes like the one he is literally talking about lol

knowing Irish Rail, I would not be surprised if they had not thought about toilets when ordering the carriages. Honestly

    1984 the DART arrived.

A lot of the buses do have loos, I wouldn't recommend them it's like that scene from airplane with the lady doing her makeup...

Tbh I don't mind this iteration of Joe.

Sickly Joe is less melodramatic and more terse with the callers.

You are right I’m sure. There should really be toilets on those trains. I’m taking the piss out of the caller but do agree. It’s a long trip to Drogheda really.

Probably no AC on them either, proper poverty spec train purchase.

I think all trains should have loos, especially those electronic ones that people forget to lock...hilarious when the door open with them on the loo like a prize on a gameshow....

    Here's the solution.

    People dancing in the toilets?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,717 ✭✭✭johnbarrett35

The man that never uses the DART is complaining about no toilets on a train! Excellent

it's a terrible decision to make, but I think it could have been an oversight from Iarnrod Eireann. They won't admit it of course

this caller loves the sound of his own voice

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,457 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

I'd say they want to leave out the loos so they can cram more people onto them?

if you are dying for a shite, with no where to go, the results of that would far more distract from the 'travel experience' IMO

Here is the thing though. It’s likely now too late to highlight this. The specifications have been set, prices agreed and the trains are being delivered now. The train has left the station now and I’d doubt you can easily retrofit jacks at this point.

    Iarnród Éireann: "Dis-track-ted" and "de-track-ted".

A 'sluicegates of Ardnacrusha' before he slings his hook.
