in line with their other latest weird ads with the woman in the office who takes phone directory into the bog with an andrex roll , and the Swedish looking guy in public toilet shimmying to the sink. -I like the simple andrex adverts where someone is on the bog and the andrex puppy steals the toilet roll. - nice, simple got to the point and not weird at all.

Different bog roll company but the Andrex ones make those Cushelle ads with the sleazy koala hiding in the women’s bathroom while ladies are using it look fun.

Andrex now have flushable wipes which will fit in your pocket, so why the need for her to "announce" what she is about to do, with the phonebook and large roll of bog roll is beyond me.

Why is the mother in the An Post ad on the verge of tears? Its her sons teddy, not hers. If 4 year old me, or indeed 41 year old me lost my teddy I would be very upset, but I don't think it would be a crying matter for my mother/sister/partner.

The one with Klopp 'Trivago is my secret tactic' is daft.

It's literally the first thing that shows up when you Google hotels, it's like saying IKEA or Amazon is my secret tactic.

Why is Klopp in tv adverts. Surely he doesn't need the money? Some old contractual obligations?

I notice Dulux paint are still using an Old English Sheepdog in their ads but the latest one seems to be an AI dog.

One of our savvy posters here previously raised this point and concluded that Klopp was a 'Media Whore'', which is a common enough species of celebrity, so I'd agree with that. If you analyse it, to fit that description, you have to be able to like and admire the appearance of your own image and likeness in the public domain, outside of your normal context (in his case, in a football dugout or a matchday press event). The ad agencies obviously think this, but a certain narcissism is required for the target to make that leap. I suppose the money is good too…

Trust me if you are a parent of an autistic child and you find that one thing that can regulate them and make them happy you are crying tears of joy.

This has to be the grossest unhealthiest food advertisement ever. I can't fathom someone handing over €19 for this disgusting looking dog barf in a bun. I was only ever in the hellhole once, a decade ago treating an11 year old grandson, and the kitchen waste we were served was abominable. Judging by this photo, not much has changed.

Just seen that terrible advert for Lynx All over, where the woman is sniffing the lads arse in the cinema..... OMG.

There is no way I could finish that. I wonder is the reason it looks so messy, because it's made from the left overs of other peoples burgers. So, person A orders one, eats half of it, and an Eddie's rep, nabs it before it goes in the bin, puts a new bun on it and adds some cheese, sells it to person B, who can't finish it. Rinse and repeat. At 19 quid a pop they could make a serious amount of money from the original quarter pounder burger.

I know that doesn't happen, it's just the cynic in me talking.

Back on topic, those Flo Gas ads really are tiresome.

Saw this recently in one of my rare TV watching

At 45 seconds in you see a pothole my first thought was great idea we can use Weetabix to fill in.

Wake me up when it's all over.

ok I am seeing (and I dont know if it on Irish or UK Channel) a couple of stupid drink ones that I am getting to despise. first one is a bloke who comes into house with a bottle of wine and takes his socks off - then the rest look at him like he is a weirdo … but then take their socks off and all laugh together as they are drinking their wine. Pointless it would not want me to go out and buy this wine …. (nor take my socks off)

Second one at the moment is a woman on a swing with a dog on her lap and its pouring with rain and she is just like staring into the air as she is swinging … like she is not really there or oblivious to swinging in the rain with a dog on her lap , either because of some kind of hallucinating through drugs or is having a epileptic fit. - bloke with a newspaper on his head looks at her and says 'Good onya!' (think its some kind of australian wine. This would not make me go out and buy it , nor go out in the peeing rain on a swing with a wet dog on my lap . - the other one from the same wine brand is that a woman is waiting at a bus stop and this old woman of about 85 is roller skating like the big 'I am' past her and the woman at the bus stop says 'Good onya' - nope I am sorry I hate these adverts so much now and I am seeing them on nearly every ad break and it does not get any funnier so I wont be buying your wine ….. unless you send me out a crate for free to try and then if I like it I might , possibly might buy it in the future … no promises!

The mind numbing Tesco ad that goes on and on, scene after scene, with people arguing about pineapples. W. T. F ?

I specifically came on here to complain about that one. It just goes on and on. If it was for dominoes it might make some sense. But for bleeding tesco??
