I just let the leaves rot and replenish the soil. I am obviously a radical greenie. I also only cut the grass once this year. And nobody died. I know, some people will be fuming at the thought of this and want to invade a country or something.

Small gardens not worth the effort large gardens and I used to look after 4 acres full time they are an excellent tool.

The little ones are next to useless but the large industrial ones will shift massive amounts of grass, leaves, hedge clipping and even snow far more efficiently than a brush or rake. Particularly handy on gravel paths where with a bit of skill and experience you can blow off the rubbish without removing the gravel.

In a big garden I never bother collecting up the leaves except around the house and just blow the leaves into the flower beds.

Wake me up when it's all over.

People referring to Russians as Orcs, it sounds silly/childish.

Dogsitting for MIL and she is stalking me absolutely everywhere, can barely wee without her nosing into the bathroom - the dog now, not the MIL 😂

My TA is not knowing what getting borked or unborked is all about. I get it must be some malfunction but what happens exactly?

When the thread moves onto a new page it gets stuck when there's only a few posts on it and cant be viewed - you still see the previous page. A couple more posts unborks it.

The way Irish media drag up the same crap year after year as if it was relevant. Who honestly gives a damn about this anymore?

The golf on Sky is the same. Audio behind video. Commentator urging the call into the hole but it's already gone passed.

Waiting on an important medical report for months now. There has been roadblocks everywhere. Just been told it will take another 4-6 weeks. Very frustrating.

A cafe in town announced that its closing its doors at the end of the month. Has been open for a year or so and is one of many in town. Was there once and it was basic, and its USP seems to be that it was dog-friendly (although entirely indoors)

I don't know about anyone else but hospitalities that allow dogs is a no-no for me. Certain people think that everyone simply loves their little moggie and must abide them during their own lunch break or whatever.

    Not surprised its closing.

This is one for me. The technology exists for the cookie to remember that you have clicked "I accept cookies", but no sites implement it. It is so fudging annoying. I have a few extensions that block the "accept cookies" message, but if you are on a different machine, practically every website you go to is asking about cookies.

FYI, a moggie is a term reserved for a cat.

I used to frequent a few places that were dog friendly on the continent, but unfortunately, I dont trust the average Irish persons dog to be well behaved, so I would not frequent a place here that was openly dog friendly.

I love anywhere that allows doggies, most dogs I see anywhere are way better behaved then kids. I'd be much happier in a cafe that allows dogs, rather then kids
