Bereavement leave for dead pets. FFS! Use your own holidays for that luv. Those 20+ days you get a year aren't ring fenced for you to only use sunning your arse in Majorca!

Now she is comparing the loss of a pet to being diagnosed with prostate cancer. Sheila needs to get her priorities straight.

    Sheila: "People think you're crazy."

Margaret: "They're going to think I'm completely bonkers."

Mary: "And people thought we were nuts for what we did."

    And they're right. ✅

Don't think RTÉ have a helpline listed for the death of a pet.

That is a nonsense argument, medical secretary's in the HSE get HSE pensions the same as nurses and other staff. Actually, I think it's a pretty patronising comment.

We should build some fantasy rural town where one off homes are all there is, have a LUAS stop at the end of the driveway to each house.

Does she have problem with her local neighbours renting out their 2nd properties too? I'm guessing she views that as ok but doesn't want outsiders having holiday homes

Look if they take holiday homes out of these areas restaurants, tourist attractions etc may aswell shut their doors. Locals won't use these services.

Give it a few weeks and people will start occupying the unoccupied holiday homes.

The cost of property in many of these areas has rocketed in the last 5 years.

Young local people cannot compete with somebody in their 60s downsizing and buying in these areas, wealthy people buying 2nd, 3rd and 4th houses in these areas.

Look at the growth in property prices in the likes of Kerry, compared to the relatively low average salary.
