Noticeable that more and more of these stories about Gazan civilians are making their way onto UK news bulletins. The Zionists and their hate filled / psychopathic fanboys on social media are clearly on the back foot here and not controlling the narrative in the way they would like.

Just caught some comments from David Mencer on the BBC.

Sickening, and infuriating to listen to.

To think they believe what they are coming out with, and worse still, to think they believe they can try and convince others that what they are saying is true.

The real face of Israel exposed in the malnourished face of the child in that report. Harrowing and the world stands idly by and let's them decimate a population in such a gruesome fashion.

it's a powerful piece alright. That people still cheer on Israel is incredible in the face of such horrors.

But some have made a consistent stand - Ireland in particular. Excoriated for it of course but we did lose the odious ambassador I suppose. And whilst many are constantly forced by Israel to condemn what Hamas did (squirrel) many have made those condemnations with the Israeli strong-arm tactics.

The public can only protest - it is Governments that need to put the actual pressure on. Govts are increasingly protesting vocally - but are going to have to put their actions into effect and not just pay lip service. I suspect those recently jumping on the bandwagon are doing so to avoid being tainted with "standing idly by" while the Genocide unfolds before their very eyes. But some, like Ireland, have been consistent from the start.

The ICC and ICJ will copper-fasten the legalities in due course.

It is also important to note the unrest amongst Israelis and their capacity to protest also. Haaretz have never flinched from investigating and publishing the truth. Just like Fergal Keane. And Haaretz are sanctioned by the Israeli govt so they must be doing something right.

There will be those who can rightly say that they did what they could and not stand idly by - even if that is only informing others of the truth.

There are those who tacitly approve of Israel, others who justify and fully support the atrocities of course. But that's on them. They will have to live with it - like Germany still does.

I do believe that when the full truth eventually comes out, the actual horrors committed by Israel with be without parallel.

Even the IDF are warning of a starvation crisis in Gaza. Some Palestinians will die of thirst and starvation before Israel allows aid in.

Absolutely these are War Crimes and Genocide. But Israel still rolls out the Hasbara when anyone criticises them - including Macron.

    The tide is turning.

French President Emmanuel Macron said during an interview on TF1 television on Tuesday evening that PM Netanyahu's policy in Gaza was "shameful" and that European countries should consider increasing sanctions.

Netanyahu's office replied that Macron had "once
again chosen to stand with a murderous Islamist terrorist organization and echo its false propaganda, while accusing Israel of blood libel."

    Gaza's Health Ministry warned that
90 percent of residents are suffering from water insecurity, with more than a quarter of water samples now contaminated, adding that this is contributing to the spread of disease.

According to the ministry, nearly all of Gaza's desalination plants are out of service. UNRWA reported similar findings, saying 75 percent of families have struggled to access water over the past month, adding that it is currently operating five water wells in Gaza and working to repair others.

IDF officers have privately warned their superiors of an impending widespread starvation crisis in Gaza unless aid deliveries are immediately restored, the New York Times reported, citing three Israeli defense officials familiar with the conditions.

This genocide should not be normalised, yet so many people are complicit in silence those of us who speak out against the Zionist murderers.

What is said by a few Israeli officials anonymously is not proof.

Imshin regularly debunks the Gaza famine narrative with videos that are time-stamped and, therefore, verified.

    Here's an example:

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/some-idf-officers-warn-gaza-could-face-starvation-in-weeks-without-new-aid-report/

If even the Times of Israel is reporting it think we can safely believe how serious the situation is now.

What motivates your absolute lack of humanity when it comes to the Palestinians?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,523 ✭✭✭Frank Grimes

Also, do you think that because some people in Ireland during the 1840s had food a famine did not occur?

So what Israeli officials says is not proof but what "Imshin" says is. Jesus wept.

Sure call off the ICJ genocide investigation, the whole thing has been cleared up on Twitter....

Israel will never let the international press in to full expose their atrocities.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,927 ✭✭✭dmcdona

Of course there will always be questions about journalists' reports. But I'd put a lot more trust in Haaretz than a video on a social media platform. Bear in mind that journalists who work for a living would have a very short career if they told lies. The likes of Haaretz, RTE and the Beeb have a pedigree of honest truthful reporting. They don't always get it right but they immediately fess up if they get it wrong.

And Haaretz has gotten all material facts correct in the past. Their sources are robust - probably IDF soldiers with some moral conscience.

Do you believe that the video exposes Fergal Keane or Haaretz as frauds and liars?

Edit - the Haaretz report is a quote of a New York Times report.

But we are seeing Palestinians going through the rubble of bombed hospitals etc. Who is videoing that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,927 ✭✭✭dmcdona

Good point. I'd extend your opener to "no genocide should be normalised".

And that makes the current Israeli Genocide even more ironic given events of 80 years ago.

This is a "Through the Looking Glass" moment.

Randomer posts video of food on twitter = undeniable proof there's no famine

Netanyahu said the Israeli government had established an agency to oversee the exit and resettlement of Gaza's population, but faced "one problem: we need countries to receive them." Netanyahu said the government was "working on" the issue and asserted that over half of the Strip's population would leave if given the option – "much more, in my opinion."

So Bibi has a "Madagascar Plan" or Maybe he should just call it a "Resettlement to The East"

The whole lot stinks of what happened in WW2 and Hitlers deportation plans….we all know what happened there.

How does he know that over half the population would leave? Was there a survey taken? A few transition year students standing around with clip boards? Maybe it was a Journal poll?

The Nazis also had a hunger plan to wipe out populations.

Hes a scumbag and every bit as bad as the Nazi leaders.

    Maybe Bibi has German relatives?

Thats a sick vile post to be posting a few posts after the BBC have shown pictures of dying kids in hospitals and this is how you rebuke those pictures.

The world knows whats happening in Gaza and theres really no need to post crap like that.

    https://news.sky.com/story/gaza-hospital-attack-analysis-contradicts-israels-evidence-justifying-airstrike-13367823

So Israel apparently targeted a Hamas tunnel network and underground command centre under a Gazan hospital showing a mock up of their target, except it wasn't a hospital but a school a few streets away.

Rather than being plain up modern day Nazis, they're also hapless. Their propaganda doesn't even stack up anymore. Hard to keep track when you bomb at will I suppose.

I said nothing about RTÉ or the BBC or Fergal Keane. Haaretz and the New York Times are biased against the current Israeli government and so I take what they say about the war with a pinch of salt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,957 ✭✭✭political analyst

I don't lack humanity towards the Palestinians - I'm merely being skeptical about the Gaza-famine narrative.

There's no comparison between present-day Gaza and 1840s Ireland. If radio and TV had existed as far back as the 1840s then the famine would've been prevented because broadcasters would've informed the British public and there would've been a public outcry about food insecurity in Ireland - and there hadn't been much political violence in Ireland since the defeat of the 1798 rebellion.

First of all, Israel was provoked, Russia … not so much.

But let's assume for the sake of argument that this fantasy genocide of yours was actually real: If the Israelis are as keen to get rid of the Gazans as you claim, then they would surely welcome any other country's agreement to take them and do everything to facilitate their transfer to that country?

Of course, this is not happening and you need to explain why 3rd countries taking Gazans would be "facilitating the ethnic cleansing of Gaza" while Poland, Romania etc weren't accused of helping Russia the same way by taking in Ukrainians from the Donbass. Should we have told Ukrainians fleeing Luhansk for example: "if we let you leave Ukraine we will be facilitating the ethnic cleansing of Ukrainians by Russia?"

Of course not, because that argument is B.S. So the question is: why were Ukrainians - justifiably so as actual legitimate refugees - able to find refuge in neighbouring countries in the same region, but the Gazans can't be rescued and resettled in any other MENA country? Especially since by your claims, Israel seems so keen to get rid of them.

It seems to be a rather recent term, prior to 1967 the West Bank was Jordanian and the Gaza Strip was Egyptian.

Yes, the genocide and starvation is completely made up. You clearly know better than the UN

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,523 ✭✭✭Frank Grimes

It's not a narrative, it's happening. Just because you couldn't care less doesn't mean it's something people are making up. I'm not trying to compare Ireland in the 1840s to Gaza, I'm just highlighting that apologists like you would probably have been trying to dismiss people starving to death by pointing at someone eating a steak.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,523 ✭✭✭Frank Grimes

They're people Sean, not a term. Do you even view them as human beings? From your posts it isn't very clear, especially as you seem incapable of acknowledging that killing innocent Palestinians, including children, is a bad thing.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 11,049 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hellrazer

But let's assume for the sake of argument that this fantasy genocide of yours was actually real:

So again Ill ask @SeanW why is it not a genocide. Ive asked this every single time a Pro Israeli supporter has said its not and not one of you has given a reason when multiple agencies have said it is. And Im going to keep asking it.

You`ll probably do your usual and disappear for a few days now until the next time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,788 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

So then no reason why we can't see footage of the atrocities being carried out.

    "Fantasy genocide", "as you claim".

You must be watching/reading news reports that are unavailable to everyone else or you're simply entirely making up a narrative that doesn't exist.

Israel does want to cleanse Gaza of Palestinians - it's not my "claim", Israel has stated it multiple times.

And if my statement of genocide is fantasy, the rest of the world is also living the same fantasy. It appears you are the only one who knows that there is no genocide. So who exactly do you think is living in this fantasy land?

If Israel does not want to cleanse Gaza of Palestinians, as you seem to believe, why isn't Israel taking them in?

I doubt you'll answer that - but everyone else knows why. That's the Genocide.

Anyone who still supports, defends or justifies what Israel is doing is either misinformed or deluded. It goes without saying really that they are also morally bankrupt and devoid of humanity. It's nauseating.
