Looking for a recommendation for someone to do this if anyone knows anyone?
Also, any recommendations for particular cameras to choose or avoid?

Buy a VIOFO A229 (Pro) 4K, excellent camera.
You can get away with a 12V socket and a wire hanging out or you can DIY it, its not too complicated.
