Like the Walking Dead I've been completely obviously that it's still a going concern.

Supposedly landing on prime video today. Haven't seen anything in my account yet though.

Not looking for any illegal streams or downloads but are there any good fan sites that will have good synopsis of each episode after it's aired so I know what to expect when I do watch it? I'm happy to wait for rte next week but don't like surprises so I'm here for all the spoilers

Ah looks like it's been delayed a month on Prime Video. https://www.independent.co.uk/extras/indybest/gadgets-tech/television/the-handmaids-tale-season-6-b2728757.html

Bit of a crazy decision, easier just to pirate the episodes.

There's probably one or two Reddit threads in the making for the new season that might be worth checking out. Like this one for instance.

Handmaid's Tale died when Elizabeth Moss became the director. I watched the first episode (Channel 4 Saturday) . It's continuing the long shots of her pulling faces together with a dreadful soundtrack.

Forgot to watch it on RTE so just watched the first episode on C4.

Looks like more of the same.

Moira is as annoying as ever.

Watching it just to finish it at this stage but holy hell has the writing dropped off a cliff…

So, they're in a position to poison the wedding cake and take out most of the Gilead leadership. And lace it with a sleeping potion instead of something lethal?!

It's almost comical how they keep trying to portray these women as bad asses when they're comically inept

I presume they only wanted to take out the leaders and not other innocents at the afters. They are tearing the hole out of it alright, get on with it to fcuk.

You should have started at the party Nick.

I thought the final episode was really low-key and low-budget just like the rest of the series. I expected them to at least find their daughter but even that didn't happen.

All in all the final series was a waste of time.

That was truly awful. Should have been wrapped up a long time ago.

I'm as far as E5, I'd happily see all the characters we are meant to be rooting for hanging on the wall.

They should have really wrapped this up last season.

That couldn't have happened. That character plays a fairly key role in The Testaments (the sequel to the novel which Hulu are apparently adapting and which is due for release in 2026)

I managed to watch three episodes quickly by fast forwarding whenever the camera froze on a face or discussion - I didn't miss anything.

Jaysus but that least season was pish, and the final episode was poxy shyte!

The end of season 4 should've been it done.

They had to wrap it up to lead into the next series, the Testaments.

Something I may have missed though, in the 2nd last episode when Rose was worried about the baby but all turned out to be OK, was that a deliberate hoax to distract Nick from June's intended hanging or was it just a coincidence?

Went back to this after a very long break for the last 3 seasons, without doubt should have wound it up after season 4 but I'm glad I went back to it and got to the end of the story. Worse things to watch.
