    The Italian song sounded unique. Everything else has been a bit generic.

    Didn't listen to any of the songs before tonight so these are my first impressions;

    Iceland: Meh, "pirate Jedward" was possibly a better idea on paper.

    Poland: Great voice but not much of a song.

    Slovenia: Nice sentiment but song itself was forgettable.

    Estonia: I kinda hate it but also find it stupidly catchy. File under "guilty pleasure".

    Spain: Not bad but not catchy enough.

    Ukraine: I liked everything except the chorus.

    Sweden: They deserve credit for trying something different but this doesn't really do anything for me. The guy with glasses who just says "sauna" is a bit irritating.

    Portugal: I liked the first minute and the final thirty seconds or so when the tempo was slower; didn't care for the middle bit where it got a bit faster and louder.

    Norway: He looks good and sings well but the song is nothing special. "Be my own lighter" is a pretty bad metaphor.

    Belgium: The first minute or so was rough: his lower range is a bit weak. Definitely got better as it went on though. Staging was very good.

    Italy: Feels like it fell through a time capsule from the 70's. Captivating performer and a lovely melody. Definitely my favourite so far.

    Not getting the hype for Sweden. Pure shyte. Slovenia and Italy are the only ones to do it for me so far. Seems like a poor year, or poor semi at least.

    San Marino: This guy was responsible for one of the worst songs ever released so for that alone I hope it fails. I don't think the weird "statue chewing bubblegum" visual will do him any favours.
