Was out in Woodquay direction last night, the sound levels in all were brutal, Tv,Music etc.

Where is a mellow pub to have a chat?

On a Saturday evening id struggle to think of somewhere but my best guess would be the pub under the hardiman hotel - McNeil's I think it's called - if there isn't a wedding on the hotel bar would be an option there are pubs like garavans and freeneys possibly tig coili outside music session times

None of them quiet on a Saturday night .

    Try the Park House.

If its just the TV/Music sound you are trying to avoid, Freeneys is a good bet. Can be busy but no music or TV's last time I was in there - there are a few more Garavans, Murphys as well that I "think" don't have either of those types of background noise - but its been a while since I was in any of those three - apologies if times have changed.

Garavans has live music Thursday thru Sunday usually.

Murphys has tvs and is usually packed.

I was in Murphys last night. They do have TVs but they are turned down usually especially in evenings. Freeneys is a decent shout. Bunch of Grapes too.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?
