    I find that a wonderful way to slide through life on a charm….. is simply to mind your own business and don’t involve yourself in the problems or complexities of other people..

    Unfortunately it’s too late in life for my old man to learn this and it’s meant we’ve both been dragged into helping a person who let’s say doesn’t do much for you barring holding a door open and saying hello….

    You get a packet of wraps and they are all glued together on an atomic level. If you try pulling them apart you rip big holes in them rendering them useless for wrapping.

    The pole that lifts my clothes line up is too long. It's been like that for years. Every time I hang washing out I think to myself I must take a bit off the bottom of that pole.

    Today I did the job.

    It's now too short.
