I'm having an extra day off work, the sun is shining and I remembered that I had half a tub of lemon sorbet in the freezer, so I'm enjoying that in the garden at the moment. 😎 It's roasting out, so I don't know why people are shivering in the TA thread.

And I found that letter I was looking for since Thursday.

    Loadsa THs!! 😄

nice walk around my area earlier. Maybe because of the football about to start the streets were deserted….. think I passed 3 people in 35 minutes, nice sunset over the green, no traffic, no noise, no breeze…..just perfect.

A magnum. Eat the chocolate first, then the ice cream.

Two magnums. Eat the second one chocolate and ice cream together.

I needn't have worried, I can manage two no problem.

A lovely sunny morning at the moment. After finishing work today I’ll have a nice three day weekend to look forward. I’m especially looking forward to going on some nice long coastal walks with my two mutts 🐶

I booked space on a zoom class a few weeks ago, as time when on I felt less and less enthusiastic about joining but was too late by the time I found the refunds button.

Not in a good headspace last night, it was impossible for me to log onto the meeting, I was querying with myself the usefulness or not of asking the group admin if I could see the slides/notes as I still had the order no.

This am they have posted most of the information on joiners email and promise to send the full presentation to ppl who paid but didn't attend.

This level of understand and planning has made me so happy this am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The healthcare professional in me will not let this go, fyi most chemists have free blood pressure checks on demand. Might be less stressful for everyone involved.

Your dad sounds like a character, I have a sibling like that, alternatively maddening and hysterically funny.

It gets better than that he has a blood pressure yoke he brought too, was over to see them for the Sunday dinner last Sunday . He decided to put it on my arm while I was eating the dinner. And me laughing.

He was annoyed it didn’t work right. You are not supposed to be taking it with food, says he.

Then it turned out it needed batteries. Now he knows the value of a Euro. Four AA batteries he needed.

“Are they dear?” Says he. Which is code for you buy them. So I got him two packs of 12 online / third pack for myself (avoids delivery charge if over 25 euro -he loves that.) Arrived fast. 10 year storage I tell him (He is over 80)

When I gave him the two packs he was delighted, you would swear it was a fella who won the lotto. And tells me on what’s app “good readings, put batteries in”.

But new issue, he needs a round flat battery for his car fob. “Are they dear?” says he. Asks “have you one?”

I explain they are different measurements different cars, different fobs. So that is his next worry where he would get one of those “cheap” some place.
    Back to square one.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

two days of nothing. No responsibility, nowhere to be, no plans , appointments, scheduled meet ups, or things I need to get for anything.

It will be sport on TV, movies, gaming, trip to the park both days and spend bout 90 minutes between walking and then sitting relaxing in the nice weather there…….

Seeing people do well in something.

Seeing kids excited to see someone and they run to them.

Seeing a family get together unfolding in a bar and seeing the happy energy.

When I approach the checkout to pay at petrol stations, shops or supermarkets etc. and the assistant greets me with a smile… always gives me a little lift.
