It’s a funny ( not ) but when I sit down I get a dizzy sensation and bam . It’s only since getting rear ended a few years ago . I settled straight away as it wasn’t the girl behind me fault , but it has long lasting effects

On my way back from town after trying, and failing, to get my paperwork submitted to get on the housing list. The one piece of missing paperwork is from revenue and I need to wait for them to make it available. On the bright side, I:m due a massive tax refund by the looks of it. Could have used that a month ago...

Oh, and stumbled on a choral concert in town…

Stunning day here in Dublin today.

Knocked off work from home early and chilled in the 22C late afternoon sunshine in the Phoenix Park. 😎☀️☀️

April 30th with a definite hint of Summer. 😊

Nespresso time, BLUE OH and me for the first time in a month. Then off to the barber shop for me.

Had a pal come round to help me move some shelves for the plumber coming tomorrow. We rewarded ourselves with a sit in the garden, but I had to come in - it was too hot for me!

Yep, I was definitely overdressed in town yesterday. And today looks even warmer. Costa del Cork down here today!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Feeling a bit dizzy after 2 coffees , my first in weeks . My heart is pounding after them .

Listen to what Mam said, @suvigirl. After all, mam knows best! 😁🍹

Just got back from town, ended up selling all of the family gold that I could bear parting with. Not enough to cover my arrears but at least, I have some financial breathing space now.

Also stumbled across another choir. Honestly, the lads from Calgary yesterday were better. Not that these guys were bad, far from it!

What's with the Choirs in Cork in May ? Is it the Corkonian Dawn Chorus ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 4,797 ✭✭✭thomil

Cork Choral Festival is on this week. Choirs from all over the world and free choral performances all over town, both in places like the library and in public. Happens every year, I’m just in a position to enjoy it this time around.

I’ll be honest, the performances really reminded me how much I actually liked singing in a choir. Used to do that for ten years in Germany, and all throughout school. If my current situations stabilises by some miracle, I’m going to have to start looking for a new choir in earnest.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Oh I wouldn't go so far as to say Mam knows best Thomil, far from it 🙈 Glad you have a little breathing space again, things will work out in the long run for you 😊

Think I fancy making a burger with lots of fried onions on it for my tea .

Thanks for reminding me, I need to get that application for a drone operator position on the way! That drone delivery startup that recently set up in Dublin is coming to Cork, and I want in!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Chilling on the sofa post-dinner. 🛋

I was at evening art class after work and I painted a picture of the new flowers we got for our living room yesterday - yellow lillies and red carnations for the month of May. 💐 🎨 💕
