    A brioche and coffee - I don't think the citrulline, creatine, taurine, B3, B6, B12, K3, D3, aspirin, tryptophan and metformin count.

One of these I made yesterday:

Surprisingly so. Didn't think the breakfast sausage would be as nice as the Tesco version but I actually think it's niver as it's not as strongly flavoured with (I think) rosemary. Definitely a keeper for the freezer and as their muffins have realtively long shelf life it's a good option to have for weekends etc.

    I have to try them!

Some what off topic, but why is it that I absolutely love blue cheese, but the sight of any bit of mould on bread and it makes me feel a bit sick, and the bread has to be thrown out.

Edit: I also found the tesco sausage patties too strongly tasting of some unidentified herb.

Have a go at this recipe. Use sausage meat instead of ground pork and skip the turkey.

Yes…..I had 416 Pastel de Nata and Belem 😀😀😀, these were a temporary diversion. When in Rome….

Simple breakfast today because it's too hot - some scrambled egg, avocado and fresh strawberries.

Started with boiling eggs, ended up making a Nicoise with anchovies for me and tuna for the kiddos and missus. Topped it with some fresh kimchi.

    Black coffee as usual.

My favourite breakfast was the Manhattan cafe whatever it was called, near Rathmines in city centre, at 3am after the disco. Menu 1,2 or 3 all fantastic, with the nicest toast and tea you could get in Dublin.

Yup! Draw an espresso over ice, top off with milk, very delicious. It's in a nutella glass so it's not huge but it's got a ratio of coffee to milk I like a lot.

Mrs G loves the stuff from lidl so I always want to make it but due to tiny fridge/freezer combo I rarely have enough to make a 'batch' to add to the difficulty she doesn't want ice actually in it just cold but 'without' the lumps.

You could strain it after making it, or go down the cold brew route (great way to use up mediocre coffee), but you do need to get it cold quickly, otherwise it just tastes like forgotten coffee

I really need to look at it better, I was thinking a good instant should there be such a thing let cool then poured over ice and shaken with milk and a dash of vanilla syrup, thoughts?. Might have to start a thread altogether

I made a cold coffee a whole one time before, and it was vile! Tasted like coffee that was left to go cold 😑.

With the Lidl/Aldi cold brews they are quite sweet and I like them. So I kept adding more and more sugar to mine but it didn't help.

I don't normally take sugar in (hot) coffee but I think adding some with vanilla sounds like it might work 🧐

Any advice on how to recreate this? Looks scrumptious. Also...McMe #trademark it!

Ground pork, a lot of herbs and seasoning like onion powder, garlic powder, sage, oregano, salt pepper etc.

I used Gouda cheese. With a Chefs ring, I cook the eggs in it, then “cut out” a round of cheese with same.

Pork mix is also moulded in chefs ring. I made about two dozen at a time and freeze.
    Muffins in Lidl or Tesco.
