Even when trump is gone there will still be negative effects as federal agencys will have lost highly trained staff who will take years to replace . The fall in the dollar value increases the we cost of all imports in the future

Old people are seeing their pension funds losing value Most working people have 401k pensions which invest in the stock market

Ryanair could technically buy planes from Russian or Chinese companies but I cant see than happening for a multitude of reasons. Even moving to Airbus would cost a fortune.

A threat from the biggest buyer of aircraft in Europe might focus minds.

Comac is emerging as a reliable replacement for Boeing craft in Asian market already.

But years, at best from being given approval by EASA.

I'd say the EASA could be motivated to speed up accreditation if Airbus came under intense scrutiny in the Chinese market.
