Bikes to / from Aran islands. Which boats to take?

I’m looking to get to the Aran islands from Galway with a bike . Cycle a bit in the islands. Then get the boat to Doolin and cycle back to Galway from Doolin .
Has anyone done this before or what boats should I take . Would like to do it all in a day .

Aran Island Ferries have a boat leaving Galway docks at 9.30 and it gets to Inis Mór in 90 minutes. You should pre-book a space for your bike when booking your ticket, they don't allow battery/hybrid powered bikes. It wouldn't really be possible to also explore the 2 other islands in the same day and make it back to Doolin.

To get to Doolin use Doolin Ferry which operate a service from Inis Mór back to Doolin.

If you want to explore the other 2 islands on their own, Aran Islands Ferries leaves Rossaveel at 10.30 each morning, there's a feeder bus leaves Galway at 9.30. Boats from Doolin Ferry pick up from the 2 other islands and drop back to Doolin.

Have you a specific island in mind? You'd see a lot of Inisheer and Inishmaan in a day. Inishmore not so much, though you'd still cover a lot of ground.

Stay overnight on inis mean. Great pub there near the old pier
