vic mackey is strike force, almost guaranteed, and I’ve never watched the show.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,830 ✭✭✭Derry WW

Apologies on a mobile so can't copy and paste. From that description, Ben is listed as separate from the Strike team, so must not be a wolf.

Also lists Ron and Lem as strike team as cites evidence against them. Vic is definitely strike team. Would be very surprised at no Shane in the Strike team.

So three wolves, plus Ben or four wolves plus Ben if Shane also in strike team.

That's a lot of wolves for the amount of villagers.

It says he is strike force in the OP.

I like the table Vern, but a bit suss on you misplacing Vic's alignment

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,355 ✭✭✭Vernon WW

    from OP:

Or will Vic Mackey and his crew take the Barn down with them?

The question right before it is 'Will truth and justice prevail'?

shame is mentioned, feb 2025, one of the first few paragraphs.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,830 ✭✭✭Derry WW

I missed that, thanks. Makes sense, Shane was such a big character in the show.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,355 ✭✭✭Vernon WW

i thought the barn was the name of the strike force. table updated below:

Had another read back of yesterday's posts:

Steve - decided to host the cops & robbers game
Players: Derry, Riona, Tegan, Clodagh & Frank

For now and with almost nothing to go on, I'm less likely to vote for this group since they were willing to get involved in the on-thread game.

Gabriel didn't want to play despite being explicitly asked; again with not much to go on, this is enough to make it onto my notes. I like their posting style overall though.

    Didn't love Senan's check-in post:

Ok, checking in. Will read OP later and suss things out.
But man, I'm so chuffed to be here. Big fan of the show.

Anyone care to share suspicions they have at this early stage just to get some chat going?

with regards to the game, i didn't see any benefit from playing in the game, and I liked wendy for saying so too.

But, you somehow found involvement in the game alignment indictive enough to overlook anybody who said 'in' for this, enough so that you will give them all a pass for the day?

Have you even checked to see if they done anymore than just saying 'in'?

Like how involved did each of these 6 actually get with the 'game', that you are giving all 6 a pass for the day?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 5,361 ✭✭✭Conor WW

There's not much to go on to date so yes, I'm using something where players were willing to put their head up and participate as potentially relevant to alignment - the more engagement we get from everyone, the better it is for the village.

I don't think I've said I'll be "giving all 6 a pass for the day" but I need to use something to narrow down the field and at this point, that's one of the only things that's happened on thread.

Do you have suspicions about anyone yourself?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,132 ✭✭✭Gabriel WW

ya, have a bit of sus on clodagh. it may be rando slinging, but they went against someone earlier, and it flagged me to them. will have to look back.

ya, it was the rand sus on wendy for not watching the show. something i'm keeping an eye on, as if something develops from that nonsense i'll be looking at clodagh.

Not sure were i'm at over the tegan v angus situation.

I don't think I've said I'll be "giving all 6 a pass for the day" but I need to use something to narrow down the field and at this point, that's one of the only things that's happened on thread.

For now and with almost nothing to go on, I'm less likely to vote for this group of 6,

    somewhat equates to

For now, i'm giving a pass for the day to this group of 6

Like why even say that, what is the motive/agenda?

Do you believe that wolf is never going to say 'in'. Tell a NAI joke. Answer a NAI question or 2. There is no reaon for a wolf to sit out from this horse crap. Thats why i'd be giving wendy more town cred for sitting it out, than giving town cred to it's participants, which is what you are doing, even if you don't think you are, you are.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 5,361 ✭✭✭Conor WW

I've already explained that I'm not giving them "town cred" or a pass for participating in the game - but with nothing to go on, I'm using their willingness to get involved (even if it is just a meaningless game) as being better than those who chose not to get involved. Like I said, players getting involved on thread is better for the village than players not getting involved.

If any of them post something later today that I think is sus, I won't be dismissing it just because they participated though which is what you're trying to imply here.

You know that by giving Wendy "town cred" for sitting it out, you're also implying that you deserve the same town cred?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,132 ✭✭✭Gabriel WW

Damn sure i know what i'm implying. And I OWN what i'm implying.

You are not OWNing what you are implying. You give town cred to the C&R 6, but deny you are giving town cred to the 6.

For now and with almost nothing to go on, I'm less likely to vote for this group since they were willing to get involved in the on-thread game.

    You said this.

I've already explained that I'm not giving them "town cred" or a pass for participating in the game

    Then you say this.

Its like you are contradicting with yourself, or else you are not believing what you are saying.

Vote going in for you now, this is the sussiest thing i've seen in the thread yet.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 5,361 ✭✭✭Conor WW

    Well, that escalated quickly 🤣

I've explained twice now what I mean, you can choose to misconstrue that if you wish.

For what it's worth, giving Wendy town cred for doing the same thing as you isn't a great tactic as you'll just ending up following those who agree with you. I don't necessarily think it's wolfy though

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,258 ✭✭✭Clodagh WW

The barn is the police station, everyone is stationed there. Can't remember what Vic & Cos room is called

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,118 ✭✭✭Frank WW

To me it feels a bit like conor coming in and looking to find an easy wagon to start on or else it could be a genuine attempt to get conversations going. The one thing I will say the quick attempt to disregard people for playing the game is interesting too and may help further down the line.

I do agree with the suss on senans intro I also think it's a bit ott eager with not much else to follow up after it.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,312 ✭✭✭Wendy WW

the flaw in this logic is it’s not just wolves who will want to keep their heads down early….

Id actually feel the opposite. I think games like that can be great ways to boost your post count as a wolf, without having to actually throw out a genuine opinion or an accusation that risks drawing attention to yourself.

I actually appreciate you’re trying to find stuff to work with from yesterday. I disagree with your initial conclusion but think you’re doing ok on my notes for at least trying to drive the village towards voicing suspicions.

You're right in that that type of things is an easy way for wolves to pad their post count (I thought similar when reading back over the "I'm sus at X for Y" posts on page 2/3 although nobody in particular stood out); when I was reading back over the posts about the game though, my thoughts were that if I was a wolf, I would have steered clear of it.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,006 ✭✭✭Angus WW

the Tegan V Angus situation is simple

    there is a character called

Detective Curtis 'Lemonhead' Lemansky, in the Wolf Room he will have an Icon of the Actors Face and the name Curtis Lemansky under it

the wolves will be talking to each other and will be calling each other slang names as we do in this forum all the time.

In the show Detective Curtis 'Lemonhead' Lemansky is called Lemonhead or Lem. Never Lemmy.

Tegan is calling Lem Lemmy in the wolf room and slipped by calling him that in the thread.

When I called him out on it he did not in anyway justify why hes calling a character Lemmy.

I am highly confident in this hypothesis and so will be voting for Tegan nice thing is we have autopriest so I will know straight away if I was right.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,236 ✭✭✭Steve WW

FWIW I was also along Conor's line of thinking with regard to those who played the game.

We need to get discussion going on some level, hence the C&R game. Wolves don't want discussion, they want a quiet thread to hide amongst.

Call it silly all you want but what's the harm in it. Not as if there was anything else going on yesterday.

Just Abigail left to post still. Then we will have to narrow it down in some way.

At least it creates a group to look at/rule out once we get the first alignment reveal after lynch.

In all of these assumptions, what platform is the wolf room being played on?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,006 ✭✭✭Angus WW

I'm also of this opinion, i believe it was helpful to distract from Tegan's Wolf slip and the generally bury it

this is why I want to flip Tegan if he flips green I'm totally lost but if he flips red we will have some nice ancillary targets, nice wine here is that this means that if he is red the wolfies will be working hard to save him.

Just trying to catch up, nice to not have a hundred or so posts to read through!

Still no idea or inkling as to who may be what. See people are sus on Senan, but I'm putting that down to the shine on Marty's forehead for now.

Just because Ben is listed separately doesn't make me believe he isn't a wolf. Vernon's table I liked. The cops and robbers game I liked, couldn't participate as I was busy moving house IRL.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,006 ✭✭✭Angus WW

its Necro and Trig so the assumption is that wolf room is discord, I may be wrong but all games i've played with either of them modding have used Discord for the back rooms. Discord allows full functionality for what I'm describing

Ben may have a phone that he can take calls from strike team or vice versa for info or messing with votes like I said. Important we all do list of who we are voting for each day.
