First game i missed all year so was looking forward to the highlights last night, it was nice of the Sunday game to show 5 of the 46 scores from yesterday, could they not show a few more of the games not on TV?

Or a 2nd highlights show Monday with a bit more from these games. Clubber will show games from all grades but we have no access to lenister championship games.

There should be a separate hurling and football show it’s to much to be trying to cram into a few hrs and last night they flip flopped from Munster to Leinster to football

Yes i agree. Why did they not have a show Saturday? There was some very good games on Saturday in hurling and football that RTE did not show live which is fair enough but there should be a Saturday night game at 10pm if the games finish late. They then try cram all of this into the Sunday game which is now a complete information overload. RTE are still showing the Magners league in Rugby which is pure dog ****, teams playing there 2nd teams every Saturday.

The hurling needs to start on the May bank holiday as the premier league and rugby is nearly over. So they can then show Saturday night games live, and give the GAA its own window. They can surely find 2/3 weekends to free up to make this happen and keep the club calendar as it is. My head is fried trying to keep up with all the matches coming up.

Gaa plus coverage from what I saw of it last weekend when they showed the Tipp v Limerick game was miles better than RTE. They (RTE)have the same old tired format and panels that would put you to sleep. The other crowd are full of energy and look like they are actually enjoying what they are doing. Sunday Game crowd have had it all their own way for years and it has gone stale.

Exactly or and 8:30 hurling show and 9:30 football show on a Sunday or vice versa no excuse in this day and age

Have your combined show with highlights similar to tg4 maybe with just commentary if needs be

RTE had a Saturday highlights show last year which they must have dropped or it won't start until the football All-Ireland group stages begin. The highlight package for our match was dreadful, less than 90 seconds of footage. There's too much time spent talking on the Sunday Game. The show is trying to do too much, it's trying to analyse matches in detail while also doing state of the GAA style addresses. Just show more match footage on the Sunday Game or put decent highlights on YouTube

As an aside RTE has lost the rights to the Provincial rugby competition from next season so you won't have to watch that on RTE again for a few years

Gaa plus should consider their own Monday night highlights show. It would enhance the subscription offering to tap into some of the podcast market and augment it with video based highlights and analysis.

I could be wrong but nearly sure there is a midweek highlight show on GAA+
