Fencing options

Unless you've been fencing since a child, - get a contractor. I do my own, and with enough time I can do it to contractor standard but I rarely do owing to rushing.

3ft sheep wire plus heavy barbed on top is a 30 year fence if you buy proper stakes and strain it correctly. You'll make a balls of it yourself and waste the materials money unless you're experienced.

I would allow about 8 to 9 euro a Metre unless your fence line is straight and flat. There's places i fence that i have to use a pole every 1.5 m rather than every 3 m as recommended.

Buy the best poles you can afford. The wire is much of a muchness, - it all lasts long enough.

You should get your brothers with you and go at him with a hurley and an iron bar. One could hold him by the arms. Isnt that the tradition no?
