Another dreadful day here in Wexford. Started off wet then stopped for a while and now back to rain this evening

Drizzle and light rain on and off all day here at Dunshaughlin. Grass is really starting to grow but the garden is so wet, need at least 3 or 4 warm dry days before I can give it another cut, however next week loots promising.

Wasn't too bad between the deluges

Got some gardening done and we got a walk in this afternoon

Thankfully the rain has stopped just in time for the weekend. April certainly was a game of two halves. The trees have transformed from winter bleak to green in a week. Except for the poor ash. The apple and cherry blossoms are glorious. The birdsong is just magical in the mornings. I just love this time of year. So much promise and more and more light every day.

If we get sun and heat next week, the growth will be explosive.

Lovely Morning walking along the coast in Cahersiveen, pic taken at 09.30. Sunshine and passing cloud with a light breeze, quite mild now.
