I would love someone to ask Karoline Leavitt, Pam Bondi, Tomi Lahren, MTG and all those MAGA women who fawn and fall at the feet of Trump for their fame and fortune, what would they do if Trump did to them what he said he could do to any woman.

What would they do if he just came up and grabbed them by the pxxxy?

This may be a crass post but I would seriously love to hear their answer. Would they allow it as Trump claims all women allow it because of who he is?

Sky News just said that Musk, from May, will no longer be involved with the Trump Admin and DOGE. He'll be concentrating on Tesla. Hopefully he won't be the first rat leaving that sinking ship that is the Trump Administration.

Walz comes across as a good man to me. Having said that, I don't think he's a Presidential figure (and I don't think he personally wants to be President himself), but he'd be a perfect VP and I thought he was a great pick by Harris.

People say he has 'woke' policies but at the end of the day he's in favour of people being themselves without judgement and that says a lot more about him than it does about his detractors.

Not to mention his own story. Issues around fertility, his son having profound autism etc. Just an all-round good guy.

Trump won the popular vote, aka a majority. The Dems need to hold their own base as much as possible as well as turn at least some of the Trump voters to them. I suspect they will need to move at least on some social issues to capture these votes.

If they run AOC they will have at best a contentious election, where given the current **** show it should be a Dem landslide.

I think Bernie is right in his current objectives. He's largely ignoring the culture war. He's pushing for day to day economic benefits and that strikes a chord with both democrat and republican voters alike. He's actively avoiding "establishment democrats" and supports "independents" who are focused on things like education, healthcare and social security over social issues. I think of people see a genuine improvement on their lives then it becomes much more difficult to use minority groups as a scapegoat.

This is the problem with the 2 party system. Having Bernie Sanders caucus for the dems and run in their elections alongside someone like Joe Biden

If this was any other western country you'd have a MAGA party, a traditional Conservative party, a centrist Libertarian party, a left of centre Democratic party, a Green party, a Socialist party, and a bunch of others at the extremes.

Some of these exist but can't compete because the 2 main parties are so large they skew the spectrum.

AOC has several things going against her.

She's a woman, a POC, intelligent, well-spoken, educated and has backbone and integrity.

Not a chance will the average flyover knuckledragger vote for her. It's extremely sad, but that's where we are now. The average voter is like a toddler, you need to jangle a set of keys in their face and make cooing noises. Three word slogans with simple words and repeat, repeat, repeat. Construct a simple reality for voters and give easy answers. Hammer that home non stop. Any difficult questions, waffle and bullsh1t.

There are plenty of educated and intelligent people in the States, but they're not the majority. The majority are barely literate, little education, used to propaganda being fed to them in small, easily digested pieces with little to no critical thinking ability.

The democrats will never be able to tap the sexist, racist, religious extremist market, but your average morons is a possibility. They just have to stop trying to appeal to intelligent, educated people and go for utter morons.

It worked for Trump.

If AOC has no hope of winning against literal fascists just because shes a non white male, then America can get fucked and the rest of the world should just complete the pivot away from them economically and militarily
