Any suggestions on getting rid of large boulders(1.5m x 1m x 1m) from the back garden?

I have a few large boulders in my back garden. They have been there probably since this area was farmland.

I wonder if you have suggestions on how to move them(or break them down, or get them taken away).

There is no access to them from the front and no entrance from the back of the garden. :(

You could break that one in pieces with some stone chisels and a sledgehammer.

And get yourself a nice bit of exercise while you’re at it!

I prefer to get rid of them if I can.

Fire . set a small fire on top of the stone. Turf or wood. Let heat up. stone will eventully crack. continue until stones are small enough to move

I can see this is an old post but: if you can't get the rocks moved you can clean them up and make them a feature by painting them a colour of your choice. Position them in a sunny spot where you can admire them. That way they wont annoy you so much that you want to get rid of them. Other than that advertise them as free to take away. Someone else might want them.🤣

I haven’t used this myself, but people swear by “expansive grout”.
No need to kill yourself hammering chisels and feathers, or keeping an eye on fires, or blowing yourself up.
You drill a line of holes, fill them with the grout, wait for it to expand and finally crack the stone.
