Remember folks, today could be a bumper day if your favourite TGTG location is closed on Easter Sunday.

My nearest Aldi have had theirs up since Wednesday and with a score of 3.4 they can keep it! It's the worst of anywhere I ever got one.

4 and above, will share the love, 4 and below, a definite no go.

Got my first James Whelan (Rathmines) bag today...like the other poster a few weeks ago, its nearly all sausages! Id have preferred a bit more variety butbit is what it is...will have a heap of them for breakfast tmoro and mon and the rest off to family and friends.

Was also in Dundrum after, and there was a kerrygold promo van where they were handing out boxes of short-dated cream cheese (1month to go.) Will be offering that off to others as well!

Not a bad haul all-in for a tenner!

Would you not freeze some? I always freeze sausages so I have them ready to defrost on Fryday!

Anyone get an Aldi Easter bag?

I didn't bother due to reviews here previously

My nearest one had 2 bags left at closing, with a score of 3.4 I wonder why. It's the worst Aldi I ever went into for stock and stock rotation. I usually have to go to the next one 20km away for what I need.

Got a Cafe Nero bag in the end, which is always a good option. 5 pastries, 4 mixed flavours of toasties and then a tub of fruit, sure it's practically a 3 course Easter dinner 😄. This Neros has a well deserved rating of 4.7.

Isn't this the fatal flaw in the system? Why plan to have stuff left over? Surely they should just adjust purchasing to NOT have stuff left over.

I guess the working assumption is that it's a bad look to run out of food so they tend to lean towards oversupply rather than undersupply in the knowledge that leftovers can go in the app.

Whelans again (not much choice of places in Blanch, unless you want to wait till night for a handful)
