Shortlisted, and OOM in the early 20’s. Hopefully not waiting to long for an interview.

Got word today I placed OOM 11 batch 2 after shortlisting in Laois. Anyone any idea how long it’s taking to get called for presentation/interview stage?

Hi, has anyone from the Dublin panel previously taken up the expression of interest for Kildare, specifically Celbridge? Trying to gauge what dept it would be for. Thanks

Can anywone provide me some insight on how the OOM works please. I was placed nearly 1400 after assessment, then I placed on the 500's on batch 4 after shortlisting, Hardly there is more than 500 pleaple on each batch so I am completely confuse as to how that works. Do every pannel start from 1? If that is the case the chances of being called are 0 but I still would like to understand. Thanks

Has anyone from batch 2.1 or 2.2 been placed after interview yet? Any idea where what departments there being assigned to ?

I thought it started at 1 for each batch aswell but it's over all. So I'm shortlisted to number 551 in batch 4. That's just means I'm 551 OOM overall

I’m in batch 2.1 (low 20s after interview) and starting my new role on April 28th.

For Dublin? I've just been shortlisted 200's for batch 4 so probably won't even reach me.

Are we not waiting for all people in batch 3 to be interviewed before they reach us? I'm late 100s in batch 4 so isn't there over 100 ahead of me in this batch? Just trying to think ahead and wondering if I'll ever be reached.

Have they started on Batch 4 for Dublin yet? I am 167 on OOM so is there any chance that i'll get an interview?

I think that’s 200’s overall. Each batch is shortlisted from about 250-300 and lots of them knocked out. I’m late 300’s so no way that’s per batch.

Before today they had shortlisted 770 I think after looking back at this thread. My original OOM was in the 1400s and I got shortlisted today so could be a huge batch? Apologies if I got that wrong.

Anyone know what numbers have been called to interview in Wexford?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15 libravibes76

I think they have shortlisted a large amount this time- something like 700 applications as this could be potentially the last group to be interviewed before closing date in November.

Id say we will all get an interview from batch 4.

By shortlisting the large group now it allows them to concentrate on arranging interviews throughout the summer, as this is normally when there would be a delay due to staff shortages because of holidays.

Having people shortlisted means they only have to organise for interviewers.

yes, I’m moving dept. I requested to stay in my current dept but I think I left it too late. I waited until interview results were issued before I contacted HR. However, within a few days of getting interview results, I was in clearance for a position. I left it too late to alert my HR. I’m happy with my new Dept. though so it all worked out ok 🙂

AFAIK you have to wait until you get interview results to let your HR know you’ve passed and you’d like to stay so could’ve just been down to timing as others were waiting a bit longer to hear back

I was 18 and was called and a colleague was in 30s and she was called in same batch. Interviews less than 2 weeks ago and offers received (i decided ot to do interview as I'm 1 on internal panel in my department).

That was in response to wexford question, can't reply to comment for some reason.

I asked my HR and PAS as soon as I found out, I would like to stay in my dept, but wouldn't bother me going elsewhere as long as it's grand. Best of luck 🤝

I'm trying to get the lay of the land as such with the different batches

Have all of Batch 2 been interviewed? Placed?

Batch 3 & 4 have both been shortlisted and are waiting interviews?

I emailed earlier and got this response, hope this clarifies for a few people:

"Successful candidates at stage 2 receive a new OOM and it is based on this that they are taken to stage 3 consisting of a presentation and interview held via Zoom, within their batch.

I can confirm that batch 2 is exhausted and if and when we are calling candidates forward to stage 3 interview/presentation it will be from batch 3 forDublin."
