Hi all, I will be arriving into Rosslare Harbour on the 17th of April. I need to get to Waterford train station - the only issue is that I will have my small dog with me, and I don't have a car. I understand that dogs are not allowed on public transport. Any advice on the cheapest way to travel between the two?

    Many thanks in advance!

Per the Irish Rail website, there are certain conditions under which dogs are allowed on board trains. Unfortunately you're looking at a very long way round from Rosslare Harbour to Waterford by train, as you'd have to travel from Rosslare to Dublin Connolly, cross the city to Dublin Heuston, and then a train all the way back down to Waterford, turning a ~70km journey by road into probably >300km by rail!

@cython Thank you very much! I'll take a look at taxis or an uber.

Bus driver might allow your dog. Terminus outside the railway station
