The problem is when you eventually realise the need for power of attorney the person can be too far gone for anyone to make a fair assessment as to whether the person is fully with it or not.

a lad at work, his father is now too far gone, and was too much of a cúnt to sign over the farm to him, now the farm is been used to fund his nursing home care

If the engine starts rumbling the damage is done.

Female caller: "I'm after putting the wrong fuel in my car. What should I do?"

    Male customer: "Ring your husband."

So it is Funny Friday after all. 😜

Joe outraged of course that someone would say that to her.

Caller has some eyesight if he can make out what make and model of a bird is sitting on a pole 250m away. He even knows if its petrol or diesel.

Those Deliveroo/JustEat delivery drivers on mopeds are my new pet hate, had one behind me last week right up my left tailpipe as if we were on a racetrack, clown was trying to undertake me when I was turning left. His licence was likely from a Lucky Bag.

Particularly if you were wearing Lynx Africa when you went out.

Yep, and if you're cycling along temporarily a bit out from the curb to avoid a pothole or whatever, their cyclists (Brazilian) overtake you on the inside when you're expecting overtakes on the outside. I had a few arguments with them in the past, but now I don't even bother. Think it's because they're used to driving/cycling on the right over there.

What in God’s name is he wearing? I believe that’s what’s referred to as “Cheltenham chic” in certain quarters, quarters I will happily admit to avoiding.

Yes, the salary is enormous, I understand that, but that doesn't affect my soul.

If you ever find yourself at Cheltenham, the quarters you really need to avoid are the hindquarters.

Louis Copeland not happy with the new traffic arrangements planned for Parliament Street in Dublin. I wonder will Joe give him an hour tomorrow to state his case?

Ah go away with that. This is more important - a call for the introduction of DNA testing of dog poo nationwide as part of efforts to reduce dog fouling in public spaces.

Judging by today’s promo the Tarrifs, housing crisis, Gaza, Ukraine and the Dáil speaking issue all got sorted over the weekend! Serious congrats to all involved in this enormous achievement!

Richard Guiney was on Morning Ireland this morning talking about the new traffic arrangements and I suddenly thought, oh he must be Michael Guiney's son. He'll probably be on with Joe later.

In my defence I was half asleep at the time.

I hope a member of the Wolfe Tomes rings in to say they’ve bought a grace next door to the man himself because they’re rolling in it now!

Dogs everywhere: "It's not my fault!"

As the current ad on radio says, it's not your dogs fault. IT'S YOURS!
