Think JJ has knocked on 3 loose balls that were bouncing on the ground at his feet. Handling the ball like a lump of Semtex.

Decent game so far. Cardiff have come to play and defended well but youd have hoped we'd have more on the board.

Get a score right after half time whilst up a man would be the hope......some chance of that though.

I know they got the try and the yellow in the end but it was hard to fathom going to the corner after been on the backfoot and down to 14 when they had an easy 3 in front of the posts.

Great play from Finlay and Heff for the third try, Treacy has some pace.

Why is Bealham getting pinged in scrum

Gavin is playing really well, but that's an awful attempt at a tackle. Directly lead to the Cardiff try.

Bad tackle from Gavin leads to Cardiff try and they are back in it. Just went too high and the Cardiff player bounced out of the tackle and into space. Poor Connacht defence in the lead up to that. Cardiff hooker literally ran straight though the ruck and made about 35 metres right down the middle of the field.

Took 60 minutes but Connacht’s pathetic defence has finally turned up. Missing tackles for fun the last 5 minutes and Cardiff have 2 quick tries.

    1 point game.

    The f**k is that.

Playing touch on defense at this point

Death taxes and connacht missing touch from penalties

Really Hope Ulster look to get blade, never been a fan but he is only playing for connacht for the last year or 2 because he is from galway. Would not get into the Corinthians team at the moment. It a professional sport and you have to justify your wages at the end of the day.

    No Arms tackle there

Great try in the corner from Bolton. Ioane with the break. Who nails the conversion from the sideline.

    28-20

That's a brilliant conversion from Ioane.

He isn't a great kicker, so to make one from the touchline, putting Connacht ahead by 8 is such a plus.

Love DTMs attitude, just the right amount of dog!

Another good break from Connacht, yellow card Cardiff, that's the game I think. Our defense is very suspect though.

Connacht v Racing 92 next weekend. Hadn’t realised there was no break until the next round. Season extended by another week anyway.

Congratulations lads a hard won win. Cardiff gave a good go at it and are decent enough.

Thought Jansen, bealham and Dowling were very good. Mack so solid under the high ball.

Unconvinced by Gavins defense but he's time in his side.

Gavin will figure out his positional sense and communication given a little more time. To my eye he gets caught out of position quite a bit but recovers pretty well. The fact that he even looks this composed as a 21 year old with five senior starts is impressive, and that's before you take our shaky defensive setup into account.

wonderfull victory. The team of Cardiff had 260 international caps in this match. Connacht had only 140. At this season, Rasin's current position is 11th in Top14. I think that Connacht will fight well at home . Maybe Prendergast come back to the pitch.

I would bite your hand off for a Blade-Cooney swap.

kicking issues solved in one fell swoop.

Is Cooney not going to France
