i let israel off what hook in which post exactly please.

how about hamas did i let them off a hook too.

women children and the elderly arent going to stop an army. its shameful to not help them to leave. no matter the reason.

i would say that if youre down to this level that you have either lost or that you need a radical new strategy.

The IDF said a thorough investigation is taking place. The American and British militaries have convicted some of their own in courts-martial, e.g. Lynndie England, Charles Graner, Donald Payne - so it stands to reason the IDF will do the same if there has been a war crime by IDF personnel. We don't yet know what the soldiers' side of the story is. Video footage can be taken out of context. It's possible that the binds that were found on the bodies were put on them by Hamas after the soldiers left.

You're the one who has lost the plot. Why should Gazans leave their homeland? The would have perfectly usable hospitals but for the Israelis deliberately bombing them all but at least now they have been caught out in their lies for sure and the world is wakening up to the genocide. Odd that you didn't mention how Israel is responsible for the hospitals being unusable.

In addition to previous posts regarding the notion that Egypt should take in Gazan refugees, you might have missed this little nugget:

The Rafah Border Crossing or Rafah Crossing Point is the sole crossing point between Egypt and Palestine's Gaza Strip.

In 2007, after Hamas seized Gaza, the EU withdrew, and Israel imposed a complete blockade, effectively sealing Gaza. In the same year, Egypt closed the Rafah crossing. Since then, the Rafah crossing has only opened intermittently for Palestinian movement.

Israel took control of the Rafah Border Crossing on May 7, 2024, during Gaza war and withdrew in Jan 2025 as part of ceasefire agreement.

Who and what goes through the Rafah crossing is very much controlled by Israel.

Ambushed and executed Israeli style. Hope there's more Arrest Warrants issued now. Definite War Crime with video evidence for the world to see. Israel is a failed state without humanity and people wonder why Hamas exist. It is precisely this kind of act that enabled Hamas to exist and it explains why Hamas are so murderous. Israel is the monster that created the monster.

Is this the same IDF that pulled guns on Israeli Police so the lads who anally raped a Palestinian prisoner with an iron bar could escape? Is the the IDF you're talking about? Nothing "stands to reason" in this conflict - just like murdering 15 humanitarian workers, burying their bodies in the sand and not letting anyone in for a week.

And sure, why not go the whole hog - the whole incident is made up. The lads tied each other up and the sole survivor shot all his buddies then buried them, and the vehicles.

The fact anything reported about this incident is in doubt is sheer naivety. The IDF have a lot of corroborated form in this regard.

its not really odd at all. as soon as you condemn one side you belong to the other. i take neither side, i would only be ashamed of the actions of my 'side'.

so you wont see me condeming israel or hamas. as its pointless to.

dont believe me, that its pointless? then try it. see if you dont get told 'yeah but what about'. And keep going, see if you reach a agreed conclusion.

why should gazans leave their homeland? i dont know that they should, or shouldnt.

did the israelis bomb them, yes. thats a fact. why? ill leave that to those of you caught in an infinite blame cycle.

Egypt should open the door to them, certainly the weak, as it clearly has the means to. I think many of them probably want to leave. Whether that pleases or displeases someones plan. To not do so is insane.

I teased out the last guy who took that line, Brendan. It turns out that he was neutral too. Neutral in favour of the Israeli murder machine. We got there eventually.

    Laughable.

it stands to reason the IDF will do the same if there has been a war crime by IDF personnel

    Yeah, like this one maybe

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2005/nov/16/israel2

We don't yet know what the soldiers' side of the story is.

We do. If you'd been paying attention you'd know that. They said the ambulances approached with lights off. Not only were the lights on, but the personnel were wearing high vis jackets etc.

So, given the only border crossing into Egypt has been border has been closed since May 7th last year, exactly how do you think the Palestinians would have gotten into Egypt?

It really does seem, as honourable as your idea might sound to some, that its not really an option for many reasons. And one of the main ones would be that Palestinians in Gaza have a strong bond to their land. It is theirs. Why should they leave?

It'd be like saying that that all the Ukranians should leave their land and scatter to the wind to avoid being killed by the Russians.

There is one aspect to this story that has me perplexed.

Who the eff buries vehicles and why? What am I missing?

The rest of the story is of course a slam dunk War Crime, as many commentators have reported. But hey, let the lads who tell bare-faced lies investigate. It'd be akin to the Russian Army investigating Bucha.

There were 17 years prior in which to act.

is it theirs? is it israels? should they have to leave? should israelis have to leave?

i dont know, i dont care. that argument is a waste of time. it leads nowhere, hit me up in a year see if im wrong. best of luck banging your head off that wall.

egypt building fancy skybars on the 60th floor of a multi billion dollar project and looking down onto their bloodied neighbors behind their locked border for the last 17 years however is a shameful thing. regardless of whos to blame or your bigger picture.

    is it not?

I see alleged War Criminal #1 (still on the run) is so concerned about the hostages in Gaza that he's extending his hollybops.

Presumably he'll book out another swanky hotel suite again.

I guess its one way for him to avoid attending his Corruption trial.

The White House confirmed that Netanyahu is set to fly to Washington to visit Trump on Monday.

This is the "Hamas strike on Israel" thread - perhaps you should start a new thread on Egypt seeing as they appear to have you so rattled?

    I'm very straightforward.

I don't infer anything and I like to be very clear in what I post.

So let's be clear here. YOU are coming down on Egypt (your expressed reason for being here) for not taking in the people of Gaza, despite the obvious result that would see Israel moving into the vacated area, more than likely, on a permanent basis and leaving Egypt with 2 million refugees to house, also on a permanent basis. You believe that it's "shameful" that Egypt doesn't do this, to use your word, while at the same time playing evasive games with regards to the other parties involved, claiming that it's "pointless" to condemn Israel or HAMAS. You're happy to roundly condemn a minor player, whilst prevaricating about the major ones.

I'll be further straightforward with you, your short run of posts here are littered with weasel words and are highly confrontational for someone who's just joined the forum. You appear to be taking umbrage that other posters have disagreed with or questioned you on your position up to, and including, accusing people of being obsessed, closed minded and paranoid.

If all you are here to do is "express frustration with Egypt" and "nothing else", well then we all got that.

"About 400 aid workers, including teachers, doctors and nurses, have been killed in Israeli attacks in the enclave since October 7, 2023, according to OCHA’s latest update released Tuesday. The PRCS says the number of its staff killed in line of duty by Israeli forces in Gaza since October 2023 has now reached 27." - CNN

The Israelis are committing war crimes in Gaza and covering it up.

Very few truths from the IDF and very little if any punishment for their crimes too. Seems to be policy.

It's possible that the soldiers either didn't see the flashing lights or only became aware of the ambulances after the lights stopped flashing.

We have the video which shows that shots were being fired while the ambulance lights were still flashing. Stop digging.
