Paddy' relies way too much on the auto cue.

    His eyes fixated on it

Brought so much happiness to the country, especially Kerry, Kildare, Laois and Wicklow. Just the one year in Clare.

Not even a Kerry man, but yep I am going to weep at some stage during this.

    Absolute icon.

Love that photo in the background, like something from a film.

No offence, but this set-up looks like a doctors waiting room for a prostate check-up.

Jimmy Denihan a bit of a stroke on one side?

I get sad seeing childhood heroes age and get small.

I don't know whether Marty or Louis Walsh is Podge and Rodge's father.

We had a Bendix back in the day, it ran like a Swiss clock.

The Best manager Kildare ever Had. I was there in 1998 and 2000 in Croke Park when we won the Leinster. Great atmosphere. I was also there in 1998 when we lost the All Ireland to Galway. The one that got away. We really should have won that day.

    Such a great man

    RIP Micko.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Probably the best to ever play. And worked as an electrician too. Not many of the modern lads do trades anymore- handy numbers so to combine their over-training.

Imagine that Leinster football was actually competitive back then compared to the non-event it is today.

Laois, Westmeath making breakthroughs, Wexford bloodying noses.

The Paudi Vs Micko meeting in the 2004 Leinster Final was almost like a movie cliche.

As an aside, if Micko managed Wexford 2004-2010, ye'd have won a provincial then, at least. Now ye had good management, Jason ?, 2008 etc. But Wexford were as good as my own county, Laois then.

And we go at it again tomorrow at 6! Hopefully a classic like 2018.

Ironically, a Laois man, Pat Roe was the fella who brought us up a gear. Over us when we got to the Division One final, which was some achievement looking back on it. But yeah we always seemed to come up just short in Leinster.

Went into a bit of a lull then until Jason Ryan took over, who gave us incredible memories as well. Definitely should have beaten Dublin a couple of times back then.

That's right Pat Roe when ye made the League Final in 2005. I played against him and was coached by him. He was a serious player. He's 63 now and trains really hard, a fit man still.

Should have beaten Dublin, a goal keeping error one year etc. Hopefully teams like Laois and Wexford pull up again.

I marked the late Scott Doran at schools, midfield U14. He was fully grown with stubble!! Nearly unmarkable at that age.

is that Dermot Whelan the comedian or Dermot Whelen the life coach?

"Comedian and presenter Dermot Whelan will sit down with Patrick to speak about his new book Busy and Wrecked. He will discuss where he got his inspiration to write the book and why laughter really is the best medicine."

Too lazy at present to pull out bullet points. May edit the post before tomorrow night.

Haven't seen or heard Giles doing analysis in a good while, hope he's doing well.

The trick will be to watch Foxy Knoxy, turn it off while Bruno is on, and then back again for Giles and Brady.

Any brave soul willing to take the brunt of it to give us the heads up?
