Selling my guns - recommend an |RFD

Fellas,

my shooting days are finished due to ill health. | have three guns for sale - an Anchutz bolt action .22, a Browning Buckmark .22 and Beretta 12 gauge O/U. Can anyone recommend a good RFD who deal in secondhand sales. ?

Assuming you've got some time until your licences expire, I think you should try to sell them privately. You'll get fat better prices for them.

You could start by offering them for sale here - all three should draw interest.

Put each one separately in the For Sale section here. Give a brief description, take a couple of photos of each firearm, add a fare price (a price that will sell), and your location.

Get the full price that is agreed, not a deposit. Write out a "sold too" letter. With your name and address, the firearm serial number, licence number, firearm details (make, model, calibre) the buyers name and address. Sign it.

The buyer the hands the sold too letter in with their FAC 1 form.

I've sold a few firearms to people that way.

Agree, stick them up here first.

You'll usually get a better price here compared to selling to a dealer.

would anyone venture a selling price on here or is it the wrong section. ? The Anchutz is about 50 years old. the Browning about 20 years and the Beretta about 10. They are all in mint condition and little used . I have the licence renewal notices for two of them - the third usually follows in a few weeks.

Pictures will help people give a guestimate of their worth, also good place is to check guntrader website for similar condition guns and go from there.

You could always just list them on the For Sale section here. Even a lowball price on here will probably be more than you'll get from a dealer.
