Actually it's only open for GB subscribers at the moment, whats that all about? Looked all over the website and can't find out how to buy a pass, maybe its staring me right in the face but its frustrating

the discount code for members is now in Foireann. I couldn't say whether that appeared on Saturday, Sunday or Today (monday). When I checked on Friday it definitely wasn't there for me.

I presume thats an Irish GAA+ season pass that you mean - the pass which does NOT contain games shown by RTE

legally, paid streaming services from your home country must be available to you when temporarily elsewhere in the EU and gaa+ should be the same

On the help page their explanation isnt great, but it seems that you can watch anything with your pass that you would see in Ireland - so GAA+ exclusive games but not games aired on RTE

    That's great info,thanks!

I had a look on their page but couldn't see anything clear as you say.

Between that and the dodgy box I should be OK on holiday.

"Season Pass holders will be able to access games unavailable on the island of Ireland when outside the region but as the games are not included in their package they will need to purchase the games additionally as standalone games"

If you have the Irish pass ("Season Pass" - €79) sadly that's the bit that refers to your situation. So the games will be available on the platform to you outside of Ireland, but they'd be a separate purchase over & above what you've already paid for.

If you have the international version of the pass ("Annual Pass" - €120) it'd be included already & waiting for you.

(e.g. so no issues changing from Italy to Spain where both use the same pass that covers all televised games, but if you go from Ireland to Spain with the cheaper pass it wouldn't be covered)

The RTÉ Player isn't especially great/aggressive at detecting VPNs or the likes, so you'd probably be able to get away with a handy free VPN to a Dublin IP to fix the two games on Sunday without needing to jump through other box type hoops.

Anybody know if you can "watch from the start" if joining half way through, or how soon a match available to watch in full after it's over? Thanks.
