Self employed carpenters price work

Well lads, I've recently went out on my own at carpentry. The work is no issue but my problem is pricing jobs, I understand adding profit and allowing wiggle room but pricing of the work is the problem I have. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Out of curiosity what is going rate per day for your part of the country eg reroofing a house if scaffolding was in place .please dm if you wish
