[Resolved] Was told I was banned for calling someone ignorant.

    1 month ban from @Leg End Reject whi said I called someone ignorant in a current affairs thread.

    As you can see from my post, I did not explicitly say the poster was ignorant, but the mod in question said I did.

    I also don’t really get how saying someone is making a show of themselves is abuse either, but open to correction on that one.

    have had fair warnings in the past, this seems quite excessive when what I said was not abuse.

    Happy to resolve this fairly, if possible.

    There's no appealing of bans or warnings in CA until they reach the 6 month ban mark.

    No, there isn't. The CA mods won't entertain PMs over it, and Helpdesk/Feedback threads about it won't be entertained as a backdoor attempt to dispute it either. It's at the 7th warning/6 month ban mark that disputes are allowed:

    Your first line is a clear cut case of attacking the poster rather than the post.

    If you want to debate a topic do it without taking digs at others.

    As above there is no appealing CA warnings up to 6 months. You have built up to a 1 month ban so these rules aren't a surprise to you.

    The moderator does not have to engage in a PM exchange with you, but if you approached them and acknowledged that you went a bit too far they might engage with you.

    They are not obliged to though.

    They didn't explicitly say you said the poster was ignorant. In the post you quoted the moderator copied exactly the phrase you used.
