I have dealt with a number of carers over the years, I have seen the good the bad and the ugly.

We need more of everything in this country.

Ive been looking for a GP for a year now. A year. I'm on a waiting list to get onto the waiting list for one.

It's almost like, opening our doors to people from all over the world without a plan in place, wasnt such a good idea?

All this talk about Foster carers, and what about Allen carers?

Totally agree my son's waiting for a procedure for over 3 years

Every year we get a letter, which we think will be for a date for the operation ,

But no it's to ask if he wants to stay on the waiting list or come off it,

Just got another one of them today ☹️

Was it Dr Synott who sent him for the MRI?

Is there an actual point to this call?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,053 ✭✭✭✭LambshankRedemption

I got one of those last week "Do you still want the appointment?". I am waiting for a consultation with a specialist as well as trying to get a GP. I signed up for private healthcare with Laya, but after going into them for a consultation, they said I still need a GP because there are lots of tests they can't request without a GPs approval, and the doctor examining me admitted even she does not have a GP. For, apparently one of the richest countries in Europe, this place is falling apart.

I said to my wife we'll give it one more year and then will have to try and go private

    Very frustrating

Ah look, I can't do this anymore. Their first attempt at covering a current affair, somewhat half heartedly, and they managed 3 callers over 45 minutes before abandoning it for a lad talking on endlessly about his affliction with no actual point.

The Chase is on on Virgin One. Less death and misery.

If you do go private and get one of those letters again, please write back and say "No we dont need that appointment any more, my son died due to complications related to his affliction while waiting for the appointment".

I had Cavan Cola back in the day on numerous occasions, and I was nowhere near Cavan. So it wasn't just limited to the county.

KT: Today we are inviting (calling) listeners to come on the air and tell us what words they use 🙄

Gutty used in a Republican ballad about the Brixton prison escape:

    Now!

    They’re moving, movin', movin'

    Get those police dogs moving

Get those doggies searching far and widе

It wasn’t semtex putty, but a pistol in the gutty

That let the lads go out for the ride

You would need some sort of danger pay. Do they get disciplined if they fall asleep during a show?

Northside FM - Joe, Radio Kerry Extra - Katy. Amazing how the hosts all push local issues like they were of national import on the national airwaves.

    Another boring show in store.

I think liveline with Katie is taking the lead from the government and doing as little as possible and just going through the motions
