Esb stay bar/wire stake

does anyone know if the esb replace the stay wire stake used to protect the stay bar. Just did my first cut and the bottom of the stake is after rotting

Do you mean the wooden cattle guard? They're usually staked with a metal bar. The cattle guard is just that…a protection from cattle. A rotted one in a garden is no issue.

The ESB won't replace the wooden stake on the stay wire even for farmers...

The wood has no effect on the stays purpose to the pole.
