Three phase power

Looking at the cost of getting three phase power put into a shed for a bigger mig welder the shed is out the back of my house it's a big shed put up a few years ago by my dad it never had any lights or anything put in wondering if it would be expensive to get it put in as the three phase power lines are a good bit away

Got Quoted 16k so ended up upgrading to 29kva instead. they price per meter so it will depend where the nearest access point is. for me it was just over a km away.

Same as above. 3 phase supply in the factory right across from me. ESB want €19k to do it. €2k to upgrade to 19kva.

I paid 10k for connection back in 2020. A friend paid 6k for connection and the line was a 100ft from the shed. Make sure to try and get a D.C connection because that'll mean you'll have a lower unit price for electricity. An M.C. connection is for commercial use and you'll have a higher unit price.
