Solis - Adding String to Hybrid (monitoring)

Looking for opinions and maybe advice on how to go about this.

I have a 5kW Solis Hybrid and Seplos batteries. Both strings occupied on the inverter.

I picked up a 3.6kW Solis String inverter and managed to grab a used data logger too. I'll be adding a string of about 2.6kWp to this inverter. I'll be mounting the hardware and running the cables for the electrician, so want to have the right setup plan before I get the rest of the gear.

I want to be able to see both plants on the Solis Cloud APP and planned to add the string inverter as a second and completely separate plant.

Then I went and saw this:

    So, my first question is

    1. (a) Do I need a meter clamp for the string inverter?

    (b) If yes, should this be the same model the hybrid has (SMD120CT) or a different model?

    (c) How are/should the meters be connected to eachother for comms?

    2. If I don't need a meter for the string inverter, will I still be able to see production via the data-logger when I click the second plant on the account? I didn't think I needed a second meter if there is a hybrid inverter (with meter) already managing import/export. Just sanity checking now.

I do like the idea of seeing both inverters on a single screen as seen above, but I am happy to have it all separate too if I can avoid much additional expense, hassle and complexity.

    What do you think?
