Hello Everybody. I am new to the forums and I've registered because I am looking for help wiring in a replacement emersion switch. The replacement one I purchased is slightly different to the one I have. I have looked at other pages on the forum, but none I could find seemed to cover changing between types, and while I feel it is doable, maybe somebody might advise me to buy the same type of switch (layout wise). Blow I've included an image of

    1. The Existing switch and it's wiring
    2. The New switch unwired.

Apologies: I replaced the original new switch image with this one. It was hard to see the original image.

Can somebody help me with this? - I can do the work, and can see common labels between the switches, but the L out to the 20/50 doesn't seem to be on the new switch, and I thought it's probably inside the workings of the switch, but I felt I should check with you folks. I would be very grateful for any help I can get with this.

    Thanks

    Brie

Right, that's a bit funky alright. What brand is it? I think that the wiring for the indicator lamp might be confusing us here.

Any chance of a photo of the inserted wiring instructions?

I've uploaded a new image of the new switch. I hope that helps.

OK. I was able to get it done. ON the 'old' switch there is a loop that connects the L out and 20/250 part of the switch. On the new switch this isn't there, so I guessed it was buried inside the switch using an internal brass connector. I wired everything like for like and was left with a blue wire, and the N 20A with no wire for it, so I connected the blue wire there and flipped the switch on the fuse board and it works. Thanks folks for your replies.
