Its exactly what they're doing. AND it's only starting.

Genocidal nation are going to genocide. Its their nature.

With this nonsense you might wanna join the two gobshítes and start spitting on people. These kind of posts are pretty much stupid. And being repeated ad nauseam doesn't make them any better…

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭dmcdona

    Nonsense?

Well, the ICJ found the case for Genocide against Israel "plausible".

And there are two senior Israelis with arrest warrants out for the for War Crimes.

So no, not nonsense. And not a stupid post either.

RTE are reporting that Amnesty International confirmed 174 children were killed last night.

Looks likely that Katz will be the next Minister of Defence to go under the ICC microscope for War Crimes.

Demonic comes to mind. They lack basic human empathy as they slaughter tens of thousands of children and innocents and conspire to starve millions more. They don't even feel regret or sorrow at it, they revel in joy at the bloodbath and thirst for more.

I see Bibi does not have to attend his corruption trial because the war has resumed. He has also tried to fire the head of Shin Bet and is the only one not to take accountability for what happened on October 7th. Mr Security indeed. Sheepysheep is quick to criticise Palestinians in Gaza for choosing Hamas. Yet is less keen to criticise Israelis for returning Nethanyu to power time and again. He also mentioned that it would be better if Hamas left the scene, but if you analyse the policies of Likud and Nethanyu over the years they have been quite happy to prop up islamists to further their agenda. So even if Hamas are eradicated, it won't be all roses and chocolates for Palestinians as long as Likud are in power . If sheepysheep was non biased he should say it would be better for people on both sides if Hamas and Likud are both gone. Of course the Israel can do no wrong brigade can't be seen to brook any criticism of Israel.

Don't be stupid and get baited into using slurs. They want that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,253 ✭✭✭Bishop of hope

Not so, individuals are under the microscope, not all Israel. Yourself earlier said shame on Israel in a post.

Did either of yourself or Tayto at any stage say Genocidal nation or shame on Gaza after any Hamas atrocity?

It is statements and sentiments like this that has hero's spitting in the faces and much worse. In fact it is more likely sentiments like this that drives the likes of Netanyahu and rogue idf commanders and units to see their response as appropriate.

It's bizarre and disgusting that anyone with any humanity could attack those families who just want their loved ones home (dead or alive).

It certainly appears that there is a lot of hypocrisy within Israel and wholesale swallowing of the Hasbara.

I see many Nations are expressing outrage, disgust and abhorrence at events in Gaza in the last 24 hours.

Israel is a failed terrorist state and a Pariah on the world stage. Justice will be served.

So you think other poster painting some whole nation as genocidal is right..right?

Probably time to take a deep breath for some here and think a bit.

The people joining the IDF do get a free pass, yes. Why? Because it's a legitmate career choice like joining the Guards or Irish Armed forces. Maybe you look down on those people in our security forces, I don't.

People who join the IRA/Hamas don't get a free pass because they have joined a terrorist organisation with the intention of killing people to further their aims. They join to go to war and kill.

The IRA/Hamas are scum. There is no justification for joining such organisations.

I knew plenty of lads in the Army or Navy, never knew anyone in a terrorist organisation.

That's easy to say sitting in a (now) peaceful, civil and modern country like Ireland.

It was an easy thing for over 95% of the Irish population to say between 69 and 94, and up to the present day, whether you like it or not. You're obviously not one of them.

The State of Israel is before the ICJ for Genocide. The ICC have warrants out for two senior Israelis for War Crimes.

Gaza is not a Nation nor a State, nor is Hamas. Hamas committed the atrocities, not Gaza. The ICJ has no jurisdiction on individuals so Genocide does not arise.

The ICC, which can only prosecute individuals, had an arrest warrant for war crimes for Deif (Hamas) - but he was killed.

You might find it interesting to read up on how the ICC and ICJ operate and differ. And the crimes they can prosecute.

If you scroll back through hundreds of posts you will clearly see my record as regards Hamas and the atrocity they committed on Oct 7th.

You will also see that I clearly distinguish between those Israelis (the majority) who wish this conflict to end and those in Government who are perpetrating murder and war crimes for political reasons plus the IDF.

You really think that Netanyahu and the IDF actually care anything about the sentiments of others? Just ask the hostage families - they'll tell you.

You were asking about voting rights, and whether Palestinians were 'represented' or something.

The poster gave you an an informative reply about East Jer, and maybe WB. I can't remember.

The point is it was just ignored.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 511 ✭✭✭sheepysheep

    Deal with facts, you say!

I provided you with a series of verifible facts and you just dismissed them as 'Gunk' because they were critical of Hamas, the terrorist organisation you don't plead the case for on here on a continual basis.

What facts do you want me to deal with anyway?

Decades of Zionist propaganda has brainwashed them. They now think nothing of openly attacking Israeli or Jewish people opposed to the war in Gaza, even the hostage families are fair game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭dmcdona

The ICJ adjudicates on disputes between States. Israel is a State and has been brought before the ICJ by South Africa (enjoined by others since) accused of Genocide. The ICJ found the case plausible and issued preliminary measures against Israel twice - which Israel ignored, twice, and continued to do so.

Regardless of any posts here, plenty of reputable organisations have concluded Israel is committing Genocide.

That you don't like those facts is irrelevent.

As I said before. Your posts are mostly constructive and hard to argue. Tonight a few by people on here have verged into near hate speech against Israel imo. Not constructive. I would say that very few here aren't sickened by today's actions by the idf. As someone who is so well versed on how justice should work, I'm very surprised by it actually.

My point holds oceans of water. You just don't like it.

The IDF have fought and defeated two murderous terrorist organisations while suffering only minimal damages to their own people.

Hamas on the other hand will allow the death of every Palestinian in Gaza to persue their demented ideology.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,461 ✭✭✭Odhinn

Unlike me to let something like that go. Palestinians in occupied east Jerusalem fare somewhat better than those in the West Bank etc as regards rights but still have no vote in general elections and live under a highly discriminatory regime.

The people joining the IDF do get a free pass, yes. Why? Because it's a legitmate career choice like joining the Guards or Irish Armed forces.

"Getting a pass" is not in relation them joining the IDF. It's in relation to their inhumane acts that are well documented. I note below you seem to conveniently swap this logic when it suits; given the last three years, why else do Israelis join the IDF but to go to war and kill….

You know this but are now masquerading it as something else.

Maybe you look down on those people in our security forces, I don't.

I never said this. Never hinted at it. You're making things up (again) to try and weasel out of it. l.

The IRA/Hamas are scum. There is no justification for joining such organisations.

Again you have difficulties differentiating the facts and history of their origins from any justification for their actions.

It was an easy thing for over 95% of the Irish population to say between 69 and 94, and up to the present day, whether you like it or not.

The Irish population as a whole did not experience the Troubles in equal measure; locally, especially after Operation Demetrius/Bloody Sunday etc., the IRA percentage was not a mere 5% (using your 'assessment')

Actually in parts of Ireland during the troubles it was an issue for some to be incorrectly labelled a terrorist by state organisations and find yourself detained without reason; this type of state oppression drove numbers to the IRA…just like we are witnessing and have witnessed before.

You're obviously not one of them.

No I am not a terrorist. Thanks for the clarification, bizarre as it is.

I understand anger - from each and every side. But hate is a terrible thing. I would absolutely support any and all Israelis who see that the current campaign will solve nothing - either for the Palestinians or the Israelis, and wish it to end (many do).

When I use the word "Israel" it is in the context of the Government and, to a lesser extent, the IDF (who are following orders - mostly). It is not intended as tarring all Israelis with same brush.

It was discussed many months ago - Israel holds itself up as "the only democratic nation in the ME with the most moral army in the world". As such, they have a lot to live up to - and are failing miserably. Hence the strong criticism - and providing evidence to show Israel and the IDF ate no better than Hamas.

This, for those who never spot antisemitism on this thread, is a good example of a truly antisemitic post.

The demonic Jew (although he prefers the ambigious 'they') lacking human empathy, crazed by bloodlust, thirsting for more, only half human unable to feel human emotions like regret or sorrow.

It's truely embarrassing to be honest.

In his own words "Israel are not oppressing millions of people. "

I was referring to the Netanyahu Israeli regime and it's supporters, neither I or the post I quoted mentioned Jewish people and I'd thank you to not make up complete inflammatory nonsense to deflect from the point being made.

There are many good and moral Jewish people around the world who don't support the horrors Netanyahu is inflicting and I'm sure don't care for the equation you're trying to make.

@sheepysheep I see you are back posting. Did you take the time to read the links and do you plan to respond to the question?

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?
