Over 80 killed in Gaza; the ceasefire is over, by the decision of Israel.

Looks like a massive artillery and drone attack across Gaza ,madness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 326 ✭✭REDBULL68

Me thinks, this might have to take the news away, about the sellout of Ukraine tomorrow, wait and see folks.

Some new figures in the Israeli government, might be of relevance. It seems that the US had been informed in advance of this attack. Death toll at 200 (AJ).

I'd imagine the families of the hostages are at their wits end. They had begged Israel to maintain the ceasefire.

Predictably, alleged War Criminal Netanyahu simply ignored them to save his political skin.

Given the rise in anger with the Govt over the last few weeks, it's likely that Israelis will protest in numbers at the resumption of the Gaza Genocide.

BBC are reporting that 330 were killed last night - including more than 50 children and 28 women.

Israel resume their blood lust against women and children

Such sickening news. The blame game resumes as well, but there's no justifying this imo.

    Shocking stuff

You need to "give a damn" about Hamas as they are an intrinsic players in this horrible conflict.

That seems to be the major problem with a certain coterie in Ireland , they ignore one of the major players in all this.

It seems that everything from one side is "gunk" and everything from the other side is bona fide so to speak.

What is wrong with you? I sent you 4 links to read which will accurately describe what Gaza was like before Oct 7th? What has it got to do with who was in Gaza? I never asked you whether you were in Gaza. I don't care. You even pretended that you had plans to go there. Again, irrelevant.

I am trying to make a point here. Read the links and then give me your own impression on what it was like to live in Gaza during the Blockade. There is no rush. Then we can debate. Let's keep it honest now and I think we will both learn something. Over to you.

So using what you read in the 4 links, what were living conditions like in Gaza during the 20 year blockade?

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

    Anything to say BB?

    Thought not.

The IDF heroes are back in business.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

The suspicion must be that Netanyahu always intended the war against Gaza to recommence. There were no suggestions in the last few days that the full-scale bombardment of Gaza was about to happen or that Hamas were doing anything to provoke such a thing.

That seems to be the major problem with a certain coterie in Ireland , they ignore one of the major players in all this.

and that major player is armed to the teeth by the US and UK as they carry out their blood lust

The gardai aren't enforcing an illegal colonial regime on a population.

Your usual 'What about Golan, WB, EJ' was answered in detail by someone, especially in regard to E jer.

Again, I've no memory of such an argument. What remarks were made re Arab East Jerusalem?

Over 400 people dead. Mostly women, children and elderly. 130 children dead apparently. Families wiped out. That number again seriously injured. Absolutely shocking.

There were no warnings that I can see, these bombings caught everyone by surprise. This is as bad as October 7th to my mind, a preemptive slaughter of innocent people during "peacetime", as fragile as that peace was.

This couldn't be about getting hostages home, there was a path to do this which Israel clearly reneged on by violating the ceasefire so brutally. I don't understand it, or how anyone can condone or ignore this. The world will keep looking the other way. We will get the usual psychos coming in soon telling us "**** happens in war", or whatever deranged narrative they can concoct to blame poor displaced people who were blown to bits for their own deaths. Horrific and depressing.

Complete and utter nonsense. Calling out Israeli war crimes is not supporting anyone or anything but it is clearly your go-to trope and they only way you can get around Israeli skullduggery in your reply. Deal with the facts and answer the points I made in my post.

Thanks for coming out and stating where you stand at last. No point in trying to hide how you really feel.

I actually don't care about Hamas members being killed. There is, however, something radically wrong with the Israelis who are prepared to murder thousands of children and come out with their lame excuse about Hamas members hiding among them. No child should be murdered in order to get a Hamas member never mind thousands. Sniping children who are playing in the street is another matter altogether. But thanks again for coming out.

Your point doesn't hold water though. The IDF are a disgraced murderous rabble just like Hamas. Its not a trope either as the world has seen it. War Criminals all and should be called out. The only people who think they are a legitimate army now are people who condone murder and Islamophobes.

All this new bout of bombing and murdering is clearly to force the population to leave Gaza. It is part of Netanyahu and Trump's plan for Gaza and the building of the Riviera of the Middle East. These murderers, rapists and War Criminals only think about money and their ego. Corrupt to the hilt.

Israel now exterminating Palestinians at a faster rate than at any time since 2023. This is only going in a very very dark direction, although this is the natural direction of settler colonialism

Looks like last night's attacks on Gaza were no one off - Netanyahu says this is 'just the beginning'.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 4,079 ✭✭✭dmcdona

From alleged War Criminal #1's press conference:

Netanyahu addresses the people of Israel directly.

"We have made incredible achievements up until today," he says, adding that "together we are changing the face of the Middle East".

Seems Netanyahu is emboldened by Trump and the US green light. Bragging about War Crimes and Genocide and especially the murder of kids sheltering in a school today is utterly abhorrent.

The good people of Israel will rise against this political manoeuvre and I hope they make sure he cannot continue.

As for the rest of the world, it watches and it sees every murder. Justice will be done.

The War on Gaza is the Palestinian's Holocaust.

    Shame on Israel.

Make no mistake - the reneging of Israel on the truce is purely political. That one man's political ego and self importance should result in such devastation is appalling.

There's no other way to explain it: Israel knowingly violated the cease-fire agreement with Hamas – with American approval – because it didn't want to fully meet the terms it had committed to two months ago…

Israel's operation in Gaza will be justified as a necessary step to break the deadlock in negotiations while simultaneously fulfilling Netanyahu's promise to defeat Hamas – even though the timelines for these two goals are not aligned.

The hostages could die before Hamas is defeated, if it's defeated at all.

But above all, this is about a series of urgent political goals that the prime minister won't admit to publicly: restoring Itamar Ben-Gvir and his far-right Otzma Yehudit faction to the government, passing the budget and stabilizing the coalition"

There is a lot of outrage in Israel right now. I only hope it has the effect of stopping the carnage.

Yehuda Cohen, father of Israeli hostage Nimrod, told Haaretz that the renewed fighting was politically motivated, and that Netanyahu is attempting to "murder the hostages, including my son, for the sake of his throne."

Genocidal nation are going to genocide. Its their nature.

Believe it or not though, a considerable number of Israelis are attacking the hostage families on social media.
