I moved electricity provider - how (before documents arrive) do I know precise changeover date/time?

i.e. new provider has a day/night/peak rate - so just curious as to how long before I get formal documents that the changeover might actually happen?

    Thanks

When you signed up you should have been asked to supply a meter reading. I believe that plus the date you signed up form the changeover date.

Your bills with your new provider will be backdated to then and your old provider will terminate your account using the reading you supplied

Since you mention a peak rate, might as well get into the habit of avoiding it now even if the changeover isn't fully complete
